Chapter 20

We had been talking to each other for some time now and my mother came to the kitchen.

“Jailyn I must talk to you!” she sat down in front of us and began to speak

“what is it mother?” I said smiling

“it's about the healing spell you set on the king!”

“what about it??”

“well...we have a problem” my mother had a sad look on her face

“what kind of problem?” I was beginning to get worried

“it's gonna wear off in a year and when that time comes he will come to hunt us down again!”........I hadn't really thought about that, I just wanted to get my sister back from the king somehow, lost in my own thoughts my mother began to speak

“I have a solution for our problem.....but it is a matter between life and death”

“life and death??” Leonardo asked curious

“yes, there is a possibility that I might not live” I was speechless at my mother's words,

“but I want you both to listen to my plan?” Leonardo looked at me and clearly saw that I didn't know what to say, he nodded to my mother.

“I would cut Jailyn's and Zulyn's hairs and heal them back to life......but they could not have enough healing powers left to heal me”

“it's out of the question mother, I'm not gonna lose you again!!” I said to her sternly

“Jailyn I'm sorry but it's the only way!!” 

“no it's not the only way mother....we're not going with that plan....period” my mother sight and admitted defeat,

“but can you and Zulyn meet me in the praying room at sun down?”

“why?”

“I have a surprise for you both” she gave me a kind smile

“sure why not” I replied with a smile.

Leonardo and I went to sit on the veranda,

“so Leonardo has something interesting happened while I was sleeping??”

“umm....oh yeah I almost forgot!”

“forgot what??”

“well Brenda and Ray are dating!” he said with a smile

“no way!!” 

“yes way and it's not over.... Kai and Kwanita are also dating”

“really??” I was surprised when he said that

“you don't believe it?”

“I believe it, but there like the opposite of each other”

“yeah I know!!” he said laughing

“how about Zane has he started dating anyone??”

“..no..”

“why the gloomy face??”

“well.... he said he has only eyes for you” I looked at Leonardo and burst into laughter,

“that's really funny Leonardo, but seriously has he started dating someone” I said with a smile, but Leonardo still had the gloomy expression

“wait... your not joking??”

“I wish I was!” he said with a sad expression

“well to bad for Zane tho” I said with a serious look

“what do you mea--” I cut him off by hugging him as tight as I could

“because I have only eyes for you” I said looking up at him and a smile formed across his face,

“oh my it's already sundown!!” I tried to run to get Zulyn but Leonardo wouldn't let me go,

“umm....Leonardo?” I looked up at him and he kissed me on the lips, it was a really passionate kiss, I thought I was gonna pass out, then he ended the kiss and held my hand 

“shall we get your sister my lady” he said in a formal voice

“we shall sir” we held hands and laughed while getting Zulyn.
