What will I do?

At that moment my mind was running with all kinds of thoughts. I have never in my life been in such a position that my very breath had been taken away. It took me a second to realize I wasn't breathing, as I instantly took a deep breath. I then look down at the suit he had given me, only to realize there was something heavy inside.  Only to find a firearm fully loaded. Hence at that moment, I knew what I should have chosen from the beginning. I put all my worries and thought's aside as I put on the black spandex suit.

This meant war and know that I realize the opportunity I have, I'm so not letting it go from my grasp. As I swell up with confidence, I am ready to meet my fate; my true fate.

I walk over to the open door, knowing the second I take that fatal step out; I won't be able to turn back. Nor will I be able to hold my head up high, knowing I turned my back on the very people who saved me. Empting my mind of all thoughts, I finally step out into the hallway, and started sprinting for the battlefield. My heart beat was so flustered that it had almost caused me to stumble on my own two feet, as I catch myself multiple times along the way. It was this feeling of excitement and fear that were so harsh on me, causing this pain in my chest. I didn'treally know why I was so scared, but at that moment I had no time to find out why. My thoughts were interrupted as I stopped in front of a metal double door. And without a second thought, I opened it.

At that very moment, the sight before me was forever chiseled into my memory. Detail by detail.

"ATTACK!" A man bellowed, as the thousands of soldiers who once stood in front of me lined up so neatly, then scattered. As their feirce experssions matched their intent for victory, but their bodies were after something else, they were aiming to kill. They ran toward ropes that came from the clouds above. The same ropes that I remember seeing fall for the sky where I was taken. It was the same sight, from when he had slid down the ropes and rescued me. As thousands of men slid all the way down to the battlefield. There were others who just threw themselves off midway trying to catch the soldiers from up above. While the soldiers below instantly started fighting them off.

But these were no regular intruders, they all wore full headed masks and their uniform was all black and red. Somewhat similar to ours, but more bulky as each was customized for the person or thing wearing it.

" Help!"

I looked over to see a soldier being held down by a foot that didn't look human. I new at that second it was a rave or alien. I instantly ran over as I aimed my gun while running, but only seconds before shooting I then heard a slash. As the head of the rave dropped to the ground with a thud while blood gushed out its neck. " You okay? " a soldier who was dressed differently then the others asked. He was holding a Japanese sword or Katana, while holding out his hand to the soldier on the ground. " Yeah, just a bit out of breath. But still good for battle. " the soldier replied, taking the man's hand and bringing himself to his feet. They then went their separate ways and went into battle once again. But this time, I was also in the battle. I ran over to a pillar and hide behind it as I peeked out and aimed my gun. The sounds of metal clash and war cries filled the air, making it hard to focus on 1 place.

" You know that gun isn't used for long distance shooting. " I turn around to see a man laying down reading a book. He had orange hair, so orange it reminded me of a pumpkin, as his bangs covered his eyes. He was also in a different style suite then everyone else, but this one had a cape and was navy blue.

" Arn't you going to join the fight? " I asked.

" Nah, don't feel like it." he replied as he went back to reading his book.

I stared at him for a few seconds till I went back to shooting. I looked around for my target and noticed one of the soldiers having trouble fighting off the intruders. I aimed as my hands started to shake and then fired the gun once I was sure I had him. As my heart beat slowed along with the bullet, I stared at the bullet hoping it would hit. Only for me to see it go past his skull completely missing him without a scratch. The intruder then in an instance, sliced the soldiers head off and turned to look in my direction, I could hear a faint growl come from him.

" Looks like you've angered him. Ouch, not one of your best choices newbie." He stated from behind. But I wasn't paying attention to him I was more worried and focus on the Raven heading my way. Clouds full of steam and debris from the battle started to surround him, as his feet suddenly disappeared, making it look like he was floating on air.

And then at the worst moment, my mind started playing games with me. As his body started to bulk up, mentally I had gone blank with fear. Yet on the outside I had already turned into stone. It was as if my body had already given up on me. I couldn't let all that talk I had about being part of this battle be all words and no action.

As steam was blown into my face, I was head to head with the Rave. He stood above like a pillar as he glared at me. I stared at the ground knowing if we met eyes, I would once again freeze up. As I made my mind before he had a chance to do anything...........................TO BE CONTINUED
