I really never thought I would have a soulmate. The thought of it kind of scared me...what would they think of me?
They would probably hate me. Like everyone else does.  They make me do horrible things but, I'll do anything to get at least one friend. Maybe be my soulmate will be nice...

"Earth to Mikan!!" Someone shouted "I snapped my head up. It was Ibuki

"Wow Mikan you really looked dead inside there!"
She said with an energetic look. "H-huh?! I'm s-sorry I was just spacing o-out!"
I stuttered while looking down. She nodded and smile.
"What were you thinking about?~" She said in a playful tone. "N-nothing important!" I said quickly.
"Ok then!" She jumped out of her seat and grabbed my hand.
"Come on! Or we're going to be late for class!" She yelled while dragging me towards the crowded hallways.
Me and Ibuki ran straight into the hallway trying to avoid as many people as possible.
Every time (which was a lot) we would bump into someone, I would make sure to apologize. "H-hey Ibuki?" I started "don't you t-think  we should slow d-down?!" I said quickly. She stopped suddenly which caused me to fall down. "Ow!" I said rubbing my head. "Mikan are you ok?!" I nodded and got up. "Wow the hallways are pretty slippy!" She exclaimed while sliding her foot across the floor. "Maybe it's because you stopped so suddenly." I muttered. "Well Sorry!" Ibuki said in a sassy tone. Oh no I forgot she had super good hearing!
"W-Wait i-Ibuki! I-I'm s-s-Sorry! I didn't m-mean i-it!" I said nervously. "That's ok I know you didn't mean it!" She said giving me a warm smile. "Let's just get to class!"
She said while grabbing my hand again.
We walked into class and sat down in our usual spots.
Mine was next to Ibuki of course. Ibuki was a loud and energetic person. The opposite of me basically. Everything she says doesn't make sense. Like everything she says doesn't make sense. Most of the time. She sings and plays music. Even if her music is kind of creepy I still enjoy it.
"Um Mikan?"

I snapped out of my thoughts and realized I was staring at Ibuki. "O-oh! I-I-I'm s-Sorry i didn't m-mean too! I was j-just l-lost in t-t-thought!"

Ibuki smiled "it's ok! You don't need to worry!" I nodded and smiled. The teacher came in and I tried to concentrate on my work. I failed. My mind kept wandering to . What is it about her that I like. Most people thinks she's weird for from  for..... creative differences. So why do I like her? N-not in that way of c-course!

The class ended and I walked out the door. Ibuki was, of course, waiting for me. "Hello Mikan!" Ibuki said with her usual energetic voice. "H-hi Ibuki..." It was our last class so we made our way out the school.

That's when I notice my finger. "H-huh?!" I screamed. Ibuki turned around and looked at me. "Hey what's wrong Mikan?" I continue to stare at my finger. "I h-have a s-s-soulmate..." I managed to say. Ibuki started at me in shock. "Really?!?!" She screamed. "Who is it?! Tell me!!!" Ibuki said while jumping up and down. "I d-don't k-know yet" I said. Ibuki gave me a disspointed look. "Awwww. You better tell me tomorrow!!" She said. I nodded.

I returned to school the next day. I stared at my finger. It had a red glowing string attached to it. I can't tell anyone.
"Oh! Good morning Mikan!" I turned to the voice. "O-oh h-hi S-Sonia!" I gave a small smile. "Is there something wrong? You seem disturbed by something." She said with a confused look. "H-huh o-oh no I'm o-okay!" I said. "Ok! Just don't stress yourself out too much."
I know who my soulmate is. Of course it's not Sonia. It's Ibuki.
There's no way it can be Ibuki. I had made sure to not accidentally tell her. Like yesterday when she asked. Wait does she know then?! I've never felt this nervous in my life. At least it's someone I know and not some complete stranger than probably hates me. I sighed. I really didn't know what to do.
That's when I saw her. "MIKANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!" She yelled extremely loudly. Everyone turned to look at me and her. I hid my face. Oh no. She ran over to me. "Guess what!!" She exclaimed jumping around me. "W-what?" I said while playing with the red string. Don't tell me she- Ibuki cut of my thoughts. "I found me soulmate!!!" I looked at her. She was smiling brightly and had a looked of happiness in her face. I blushed and looked away. "I need you to follow me!!" She yelled while grabbing my arm. "Cmon!!!" I stood up and followed her. My heart beating more and more.
She led me to an empty hallway. She let go of my arm. "YOUR MY SOULMATE!!!" She said beaming. I nodded. I was about to speak untill she grabbed my shoulders,
And kissed me. Once I realized what was going on I kissed back. We pulled away to breath. "S-Sorry I'm such a b-bad kisser!" I said while looking at the floor. "That's not true!!!" She said while wrapping her arms around me. "I love you!!!" She said
