Sayaka's POV
I love Makoto, and he's going to be mine no matter what. If I can get anything I want, I can get him.
At least that's what I thought....
It was a normal day at Hopes Peak academy. I was walking through the hallways being adored by everyone around me. I was the Ultimate Idol after all. Everyone loved me.
I then saw my beloved, but there was something wrong. He was talking to Byakuya! Why is he talking to that asshole. I gritted my teeth.
I took a deep breath and walked over to Makoto. "Hi Makoto!" I said with a smile.
"Oh hi Sayaka!" Makoto said while turning away from Byakuya.
"Ill be taking by leave now." Byakuya said while turning away from us. We both said bye and I looked at Makoto.
"So did you need anything?" Makoto asked. I nodded
"I was wondering if you could meet me behind the schools Sakura tree after school.
Makoto looked shocked. "O-ok why though?"
I smiled "I need to tell you something."
After I said that I skipped off to class. I wonder how I'm going to confess to him...
Time Skip to the end of the day.
Sayaka's POV
The final bell rang. I felt my heart pounding in my chest. I gathered up my stuff and quickly rushed to the Sakura tree.
I ran up the hill and went behind the tree. I waited for awhile until I heard a voice.
"Sayaka?"
I turned around and there he stood. "Makoto! You made it?"
He silently nodded. "What did you want to t-tell me..."
I took a deep breath.
"I love you Makoto..."
Makoto stayed silent.
"I'm sorry Sayaka... but I'm already dating someone else..."
I felt my heart shatter.
"W-what?! who is I-it? Is it Aoi? Kyoko?"
Makoto shook his head.
He muttered something but I couldn't hear him.
"It's Byakuya..."
I stared at him in shock.
"What? Why him?!"
Makoto stood silent.
"I'm way better than him! Date me instead!!" I said. I was desperate at this point. He shook his head. "I'm sorry Sayaka."
I felt anger boil up inside of me. How could he choose him over me! I'm perfect! Everyone wants me! Why can't I have him?!
I looked down and ran off.
Byakuya can't be better than me...... I'll show Makoto who's better....
