Return of The Crown Prince

Uruk had taken a longer time to rebuild than Arius had originally expected. It had taken a long time, five years to be exact, to bring the kingdom back to its glory days when King Gilgamesh was alive and ruling the kingdom wisely with his truest friend and aid, Enkidu. Because of Gilgamesh's absence, there had been many things that were left unattended for a long time. Only the magical presence of Gilgamesh's sprit and his trusted advisor had make sure the kingdom didn't fall into ruin. But after Gilgamesh himself met with his descendant Arius, that was the last time for everyone in Uruk to feel the old king's magic. Unknown to the people of Uruk, Gilgamesh's spirit had exhausted its remaining magical powers after he died. But Gilgamesh was glad that his kingdom was finally in good hands. During the first few years, Arius had been too busy dealing with state affairs and making alliances with the other kingdoms. One of the most powerful that he made allies with was with the Egyptian Empire. He and the current king Ozymandias didn't get a long at first. But well after they fought for what seemed to be hours, the two became fast friends much to the surprise of their aids. 

During the coming years, their friendship only deepened and they became like brothers in all but blood. Ozymandias or as he likes to be called Ramses, fought in many wars with Arius and both gained more lands for their kingdoms after defeating their enemies. And not too long after, like Obelia, Uruk and Egypt became known as two powerful Kingdoms in the continent. 

After Arius was sure that his Empire was stable, he went back to Obelia to see his younger brother. After receiving word that while he was away fighting wars, his younger brother had managed to take over Obelia after he killed Anastasius not long after he left. He had to make sure that the rumours were true or not or if it was just a cover and he was still alive somewhere. That is why, he made haste to see his younger brother after a long time. However, he did not expect to see someone else with his younger brother. A little girl to be exact. 

Obelia Empire - Throne Room

Claude had just announced to Athanasia that she will be treated like a proper princess, leaving the poor girl in shock and disbelief. Lilian on the other hand was quite worried, as the Emperor had never expressed an interest in his only daughter, so this sudden interest in her was quite worrying considering his not so stellar reputation. Before she could say anything, the doors were slammed open startling everyone in the room. Felix placed his hand on his sword's sheath while Claude narrowed his eyes ready to strike at the intruder with his magic while Lillian stepped in front of Athanasia protectively.

Claude's eyes widened at the familiar man and his aid. It had been five years since he saw them. He had been very worried when his brother's letters had stopped. But due to his brother being quite secretive and cautious, he couldn't find out where he was staying. So he had lost hope of seeing him, since he feared he had perished in the many battles he participated.  

Athanasia's body trembled at the rage shown in the man's crimson eyes. W-Who is he? Why does he look like Claude?

"CLAUDE!!! Where is he?! Where is that bastard Anastacius??!!!" The blonde bellowed.

A cold sweat went down Claude's spine while Felix barely hid his tremble. "Arius?"

Arius narrowed his crimson eyes at Claude. Several golden portals appeared with all sorts of weapons pointing towards Claude. "Where. Is. He?"

A cold sweat went down Claude's spine. He would never admit it but Arius was the only one who could scare him. "He's dead. I killed him and his followers."

Arius' crimson jewel eyes narrowed at the Emperor's reply. He clicked his tongue. "How unfortunate. I preferred torturing his narcissistic ass more before taking his head off."

Athanasia turned pale and gulped. 

The tension in the room was broken by a cheery and pouty voice. "Ari you're being rude~"  

Arius' eyes twitched as Enkidu poked him in the cheek. He turned and glared at his aid with clear annoyance. "Hah? How am I being rude? And stop poking me!"

Enkidu pouted. "You didn't introduce yourself!"

Arius scowled and looked at Claude and Felix. "Why should I do that? Claude and his nanny ahem I mean personal guard knows me already."

Claude's eye twitched. "Bastard."

Felix sweatdropped and pointed at himself. "N-Nanny?! Me?!"

"I'm talking about them!" Enkidu nodded towards Lily and Athy.

"Hm?" Arius looked at where he was pointing and saw a brunette maid and a blonde toddler with blue jewel eyes looking at him frightened. A devious smirk formed on his face. "Hoh?" The blonde walked towards the princess and crouched down. He placed his index finger under her chin and lifted her face. "And who's this mongrel?"

Athanasia shivered as she looked at those crimson jewel eyes stared at her. H-He's just like Claude!

Arius looked at the tense figure of his younger brother and his smirk widened. Crimson eyes clashed with frightened blue eyes which only amused him more. "So my little brother finally decided to settle down eh?" He mused.

Little brother?! Athanasia shouted mentally. Since when did Claude have another brother?!

Arius stood up and looked around, completely ignoring the small blonde who was having a mental breakdown because of his presence."Where's the woman?"

The temperature of the room dropped.

Arius noticed the change. "Ah so it's like that." He looked back at Athanasia who flinched at his growing smirk. "So then, this mongrel is my niece? Hm~interesting."

Athanasia gulped and flinched. Oh for Gods sake!!!! NOT ANOTHER PSYCHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! LEAVE ME ALONE CLAUDE 2.0!!!!!
