"RUN! GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!" I screamed at MK as two sets of boots pounded the pavement. We'd been running for hours now and I can feel myself getting closer to my breaking point.
"There's no where to go Paetan! We are so damn screwed!" She screamed back panting as hard as she ran. She had a point, escaping the compound was a great idea but a actual escape route would have helped.
"KALLEN!" A demonic roar sounded behind me, a third pair of footsteps closing in behind us.
"Can't slow down! Gotta keep running!" I called behind me trying to run faster than both Ryen and MK. If that's one thing Sebastian pounded into my head time and time again it was 'You don't have to be fast kid, just faster than those around you'. I love MK don't get me wrong, but I'm no hero.
A few more twist, turns, and what felt like another hour I came close to bashing my face into the brick wall in front of me.
"This entire place is a god damn maze!" Ryen screamed starting to look like a crazed dog with his back to the wall.
"Correction! NOW we are so fucking screwed!" MK said sarcastically looking around frantically for an escape.
"No...there's a way out." I said looking at Ryen and MK...the dates didn't change. Which means we're not dead yet...
