Abby walked over to a room with white tile flooring, tan wallpaper, a sink with a drinking fountain, and lots of desks. Also known as...the math room.
She walked in and plopped down in an empty seat near the middle, hoping that her friends were in her classes.
"ahem" coughed Mr. Matinos (We'll call him Mr. M) His little ahem was enough for silence to wash over the room like a crashing wave on the beach. "Welcome to eighth grade calculus." He stated loudly and clearly, then went on with a long lecture about the rules and expectations of 8th grade calculus. During his lecture Abby looked around her class and spotted one of her best friends, Haley. They both caught each others eye and gave a small smile, hoping not to get called out by Mr. M for not paying attention.
After literally an hour of the lecture, the bell finally decided we had, had enough and rung.
After class Haley and Abby walked over to their lockers together, they were lucky enough to be just one measly locker apart.
Abby decorated her locker with those magnetic mirrors pencil holders and whiteboards you get at Waltmart. Haley decided to leave her plain besides also adding a magnetic mirror to check her hair between classes.
The bell rang again, so Abby and Haley went their separate ways.
Abby's next class was science, as she walked into the plant and poster filled room she saw someone, someone who humiliated her last year. That person was, Brianna. Brianna Jenson.
