Chapter three

~Crystal's pov

I wake to the sounds of a machine beeping. I try to open my eyelids but they disobey me. that's when I heard the voices "..should have woken up already but I'll give her like another hour." a smooth voice said. Probably the pack doctor Felix. I open my eyes this time successfully.

"She's awake!" Felix called out. I heard rushing feet then a door opening to show Alex and Luke. What are Alex and Luke doing here? Alex handed me a white board so i can speak. i ask them

"how long was i out for?"

"Um...like three days." my eyes widen. Shit! Dad is going to kill me if not close to killing me. I jump off the bed and grab some clothes as they starts talking to each other then me. But I ignore the conversation. I but on grey sweat pants and a black spaghetti strap and my black converse.

I run out of the room to my house knowing it's going to be the death of me. As soon as I walk through the door my dad punched me harder then usual. I fall to my knees only to be yanked by my hair to stand. He pulls me to the steps to our basement. He stands there with my hair in his fist, he lets go of my hair and shoves me down the steps. there are a lot of stairs, I tumbled to the bottom of the stairs where I came to a stop.

Yup I'm going to be close to death Damn this sucks. "Weak piece of shit." I hear my father mumble. I suddenly saw he had a silver knife. He turned me onto my stomach, then starts to write Mute Freak, from what I got from the movement of the knife. It burns and I hiss in pain. He finally stops, thank the goddess. He pulls me up the stairs of the basement, not before i see Austin and Kat unconscious, up the stairs to the second floor where he opens the window. I whimper from what I think he is about to do.

He pulls me to the window, when he is about to push me through it the front door flies open. My dad shoves me through and I can't find my voice to let out my scream. I close my eyes waiting for the impact, but it doesn't come. I open my eyes and see I'm dangling over the edge of my house. I look up and see Alex has my forearm, sparks fly from my forearm though my body. Dawn and Aqua are going crazy 'MATE!' they scream.

Alex pulls me back up into the house. once in I sit and hug my knees. I feel Alex next to me, I look at him to see him staring at me. He reaches out to me but I flinch away from him, hurt flashes in his eyes but he pulls his hand away from me.

Then I remembered where I am. I look around in a panic. "Hey it's ok Your friend is taking care of that man." Alex says probably seeing my panic. I saw Carly running towards us. I stand and hug her she hugs back.

She pulls back and stares at me confused, before signing "Why did you leave the pack doctor?" Aqua and Kayla are still crazy and said. We found our mate yay! I thought 'shut up you guys.'

I hugged Carly and cry my eyes out, but silently. "Shh it's ok Cris. Where are Austin and Kat." I stiffen thinking what had happen to them. I hear a growl from behind us. I tense more thinking its him. "Alex you are scaring her stop." I look behind me to see Alex standing there. He looks at me and his eyes soften.

"Sorry." he mumbles. I nod trying to say it's ok.

I jump out of Carly's hug and run down the stairs with Alex and Carly calling my name. i hear their foot steps follow me. i run as fast as my broken ankle can take me. which i was happy to find out i was able to go to the basement, slash my own punishment room. i spot Kat starting to sit up, but Austin was still out. i race to Kat and signed "Are you alright?"

she nods, "yeah next time i'm staying by you when you end up with in the pack doctor." she cracks a smile. i giggled at her attempt to find the bright side in our mess.

I look at Austin and crawled towards him. I see his breathing slowing by the second. I panic and start shaking him. Thats when i see the real damage done to him. He had cuts, bruises, and a big ass gash on his head and on his chest going to his hip. I panic more, i turn and find a cloth to clean the cuts and gashes. I find a bottle of water. I dup some on my hand to make sure it was indeed water. It was thank the goddess. I pour it on the cloth ignoring the noise behind me.

I start to clean his cuts first when i hear him hiss in pain. I look at him to see him looking at me. I look at him with love and worry. There was a low growl, i look on the other side of Austin and see Alex who looks to be having a internal battle with his wolf. I continue cleaning Austin's cuts once i finish they heal. I sigh as i start on the gash on his head. He reaches up and holds my hand to his head for a little bit. His face was pained and i couldn't help the tear that escaped my eye.

Austin reaches up with his other hand and wipes it away. I mouth sorry over and over, blaming myself if i didn't correct Krista i wouldn't have gotten hurt which means Austin and Kat wouldn't have gotten a beating this bad. I didn't realize i was full out crying until i feel Austin pull me to his chest. I cried for a few minutes before i finish cleaning his two gashes. They start to heal quickly since i cleaned them.

Austin looks around for something before he gets up. I watch him grab a shirt that fit him perfectly. "How do i look besides a hot mess?" He asked and turned around in a 360. I giggle at him and give him two thumbs up. "Good lets go." He grabs my hand and Kats and leads everyone up the basement stairs. Big mistake.
