A/N: Sorry I didn't update yesterday, I forgot to start in the morning and couldn't finish before I fell asleep last night.
Fitz's POV:
"I'm gonna go change out of these soggy clothes," Keefe said, splitting off from the group. "I'll meet you in the living room." Dex followed him.
Just as we entered the living room, Sophie plopped onto her sleeping bag.
"Whew, I'm exhausted. Can I just-" Sophie yawned.
Biana smacked her. "Not yet, sleepyhead. It's only 8:30. We have to at least stay awake 'till 12:00!"
"But-" Sophie protested. Biana whispered something in Tam's ear. He splashed some water on Sophie's stomach, and she jolted awake.
"Fine, I'll stay awake," she mumbled. She got up to leave.
"Where are you going?" I interrupted, not wanting her to leave.
She looked at me strangely. "I have to change, don't I?" Oh yeah. I felt myself blush a little.
"Oh, change into the purple tunic in my closet, section 3," Biana said.
Sophie rolled her gorgeous brown eyes. "Yeah, yeah, whatever Captain Fashion." Hmm, she sounds a little like Keefe. Ugh, why does everything have to be against me? Sophie hurried out the door.
Sophie's POV:
I ran into Biana's room and peeled off the soggy tunic leaving only a thin undershirt. "Section 3, section 3," I muttered. Only Biana would need to section her closet. I found a purple no-sleeve tunic embroidered with lace.
Classic Biana. I considered choosing something simpler but decided not to risk them tying me to another chair. Oh well.
I walked out into the hallway the same time Keefe reappeared.
"Well, well, well, Foster," he said. "Fancy seeing you here."
"You literally saw me 3 minutes ago," I said, rolling my eyes as we both walked back to the living room.
"Missed you too!" Keefe grinned. I blushed a little. I think I'm finally getting over Fitz. Keefe has always been there for me, I hope he still is. He-
"Hey, Foster, you good?" Keefe said, interrupting my internal monologue. Startled, I tripped and accidentally dragged him down too. He turned so that his body shielded my fall, and I fell on top of him. Always thinking of me before himself.
"What is going on?" I heard a familiar accented voice say. I blushed and scrambled off Keefe.
"Oh, hey, Fitzy," Keefe said weakly.
"This isn't what it looks like, I swear," I said hurriedly. "I tripped, and he..."
"Relax, dude, it sounds like Foster's just being her normal clumsy self." Dex appeared behind Fitz.
"Hey," I protested.
Fitz scowled but didn't say anything.
"Guys, hurry up! I wanna play Never have I Ever!" Biana shouted from the living room.
We walked back to the living room. "You guys play Never Have I Ever?" I didn't think elves would play a human game.
"It might be a little different than how humans play. Elvin Never Have I Ever is basically when it's your turn, you say 'Never have I ever...' and if the person next to you hasn't done it, they have to do it as a dare." Linh explained.
"Yeah, yeah, everybody knows the rules, we go right, now can we please start??" Marella huffed.
"Who's going first?" I asked.
"Can I?" Marella asked. We all nodded.
"Never have I ever... been locked in a closet with Sophie," Marella said, looking at Keefe.
Oh no, I thought, realizing Keefe was on her right.
A/N: They are sitting on the sleeping bags, so if you want to know the order, the diagram is in Chapter 5. Also, sorry again for not updating yesterday.
P.S: If you're reading this, a comment would be nice so I don't feel like I'm talking to an empty room... 🙏🏻😁
