Two worlds apart

For Years

*time jump: 2 years after *
Brads POV
"Hey babe, what are you doing tonight ?", I was in my local bar and I was drinking. The night was getting blurrier, and as the music got louder my head was gone.
"I don't know you weirdo", the girl pushed herself of my hand which was touching hers and grabbed her drink.
"Does that matter ? I sing and stuff ! Come on you must like guitars.", I drunkly grinned and she angrily threw her drink over my shirt after I tried to to get closer to her.
"Hey ! Come back please ! Don't leave like-"
"Like", I downed a shot and the bar man didn't want me here either. "Fine I'll leave moody pants", I stumbled through the crowd of people and into the night streets. I couldn't stand anymore so I dropped myself onto a bench and was sick in a bin. Classy right. Well let me tell you how I got in this mess, I promised Imogen I'll wait, and I was, but Joe's words was clear, he warned me to not do anything stupid to try and get her again. So I started to distract myself, write a few songs, but every song kept on coming back to her so I decided to start to talk to her again. Her new boyfriend answered the phone and said she didn't want anything to do with me, so I started to turn to drinking and being well a real d***. Joe said I was banned from performing with the boys until I got my act together. So here we are.
Her boyfriend's name is Lucas. He's a model. Ooo. Real fancy.

Imogen's POV
"What movie is it tonight ?", I jumped on the blanket and Lucas pulled me closer, "Star wars ?", I shock my head and he laughed, "You know I ugly cry at Star Wars !", he cracked up laughing and I pushed him off the sofa and brought me down with him. We was basically laying on one another and he raised his eyebrows, "Or we can just stay like this ?", I pushed his face the other way and he smirked.
"Awww look you've made Milo sad ! Did she push daddy's face Milo ?", our baby blonde Labrador jumped in the way and started to bark. "Hey Milo, he started it !", I picked him up and little Milo rested on my lap, "looks like he loves his mummy the most"

I moved out of my little apartment as a surprise present from my parents, they wanted me to have a real home, and now I do in this beautiful country side village with my boyfriend and pup. Lucas is Zac's older brother by the way, and don't worry I asked him first, Zac got pass his little crush and apologised for him forcing anything, now he goes out with Olivia who also became my best friend real quickly.
I've started writing more seriously now, and my new book actually got published yesterday. It's based on real events, but obviously I edited the characters names for personal reasons, it's called 'An ocean that drowns', and it's about me understanding what love really is through heartbreak. Yes it does include a character based on Bradley because well he broke my little heart in two and Lucas was there to pick up the cracks. I'm the happiest I've ever been. I hope Simpson is doing well though, for old times sake.
