Chapter Seven: Mind Flayer

Nancy screeched to a halt in front of the Starcourt Mall and turned the car off just as everyone ran into the mall, they ran to the balcony to see a group of armed soldiers walking towards a counter where they could see Dustin, Steve, Erica, and Robin. Eleven looked at the prize car nearby and put her hand up, it started to move which caused the alarm to go off and gain the soldier's attention. They were confused as they looked up to see Eleven just as she made the car fly at them and cause them to fly, once the car stopped it made a hissing noise as everyone behind the counter raised their heads.

They looked up to see everyone coming to the edge as Dustin grew a smile. They quickly walked down the escalator as Dustin's group came around the counter, Dustin ran up while laughing

"You flung that thing like a hot wheel!"

He hugged Eleven who was also laughing, while this happened Erica ran up to Lucas

"Lucas?"

Her brother was shocked she was here "What are you doing here?"

"Ask them. It's their fault." She thumbed towards her group.

Steve put his hands on his hips "True, yeah. It's absolutely out fault."

Robin was still confused "I don't understand what happened to that car."

Bruce grew a smile "Eleven did it."

"I'm sorry?"

Steve answered "Superpower. She threw it with her mind. C'mon, catch up."

Erica was shocked "That's El?" She looked to Bruce "So that makes you Bruce?"

Robin was still confused "Who's El?" Bruce remembered how he said her name was Jane.

Suddenly Bruce felt his wound throbbing, his mind became a haze as he started to walk backward. He turned to see Eleven doing the same, with his remaining strength he ran and slid under her just as she fell. He caught her and laid her down, everyone took notice and ran to them as Bruce tried to help through his pain

"E-Eleven! What's wrong?"

She started to breathe heavy "M-my leg."

Jonathan lifted her pant leg to show that something was moving, causing Eleven to scream which was synchronized with Bruce's screams of pain. The group looked to him to see that he ripped his sleeve off and saw the same thing moving in his arm

"Someone go find something to bite on! Now!"

Jonathan scrambled to his feet as Bruce tried to calm his breathing, he moved himself to Elevens leg and focused on his hand as it became a black talon. Jonathan came back with a wooden spoon as Nancy tried to stop him

"Bruce! We need to do yours!"

"Later! First, we help Eleven!"

Mike sat her up as Jonathan gave her the spoon "Bite into this"

Bruce's talon was now red hot as he looked at Eleven and held the side of her face with his other hand

"I want you to focus on me and not the pain, okay?"

She nodded as pierced her skin, she immediately started to scream as he sliced it open. Bruce started to tear up from the look of Eleven as he finished opening it, just as he was about to reach inside Eleven stopped him.

"Stop!"

His talon an inch away as he looked up

"I can do it."

He paused as she sat up "I can do it."

Bruce nodded his head and back away as she aimed her arm at her leg, Nancy turned to Bruce
