c h a p t e r n i n e lovely lady
it was currently 8 am and kaitleen's alarm had just gone off, she pressed the snooze button and rolls to her side, expecting to see her boyfriend. unfortunately, he wasn't there, instead of tyler, there was a note.
hey baby, dylan needed me at his house, it was an emergency. you understand, right? i'll be back soon love you :) - ty.
kaitleen smiled a little and set the note on her nightstand. she got up and went to the bathroom to take a quick shower before going to work.
after she was done with her shower, she brushed her hair and picked out her clothes for the day.
she picked out a black turtleneck, whitewashed jeans paired with a belt and a light brown blazer. (picture at the top)
kaitleen headed towards the kitchen and decided to give dylan a call to see if he was okay.
after about three rings dylan finally picked up.
"hello lovely lady." dylan's greeted, it was obvious that he had just woken up.
"hey dyl, how are you?" kaitleen asked him.
"uh, i'm good, you?" he said nonchalantly.
"yeah, i'm good. tyler said that he was headed over to your place. he said that there was an emergency, is everything okay?"
"no... i'm good kait. there's no emergency. i just woke up." dylan chuckled a bit.
"what?" kaitleen asked confused, suddenly there was a 'ding' indicating that she had just gotten a notification.
"uh, okay. i'll talk to you later, dyl. take care."
"byeee!!"
kaitleen ended the call and checked who had texted her.
