Trips End

 Moonbyul awoke early the next morning carefully climbing out of bed to not wake her lover. She picked out her clothes and took a quick shower. After her shower she moved to the couch where she played on her phone and cuddled with Daebak until Solar woke up. Not even ten minutes later Solar rolled out of bed and groggily made her way to the living room giving her girlfriend and kiss and petting the overly excited corgi that awaited her on the couch. "Let me shower real quick and we can head to my parents for breakfast before we head home." Solar told Moonbyul before excusing herself and showering. While Solar showered Moonbyul made a quick call to Hwasa and Wheein to tell them her upcoming plans which both were over the moon about. After both girls were changed and ready they loaded all their luggage and Daebak into Moonbyul's car and headed to Solar's parents home.

After a short drive from the hotel to the house the girls pulled into the driveway to be greeted by Mr.Kim who was outside watering the garden. Daebak excitedly ran to him and greeted him before running inside the open front door. "Hello girls, how was your vacation this week. Yongsun did you show her some good spots?" He hugged each of the girls laughing still at the corgi's actions. "Hello Appa, yes I did. I took her to the temple and we enjoyed the city festival last night." Solar said happily. "Good I'm glad, why don't you head inside breakfast is almost done I'll join you in just a moment." Solar started to head inside but looked back when she noticed Moonbyul not following her. "I just need to ask your dad a quick question and I'll be right in no worries." Moonbyul smiled up at her girlfriend and Solar nodded as she entered the house helping her mother finish setting the table. 

 "So what's on your mind Byul anything this old man can help with?" He asked chuckling as he moved onto the next set of flowers. " Actually Mr.Kim there is something. I wanted to ask you for your daughter's hand in marriage. I know we just told you about our relationship but i have loved your daughter since the day I met her. I can't see my life without her. I will respect any answer you give me though." Moonbyul said quickly out of nervousness. "Byul calm down. I see how happy my daughter is with you and I would love to have you as my daughter in law. The question is when will you propose and where will you get married?" He hugged Moonbyul reassuring the young rapper. "We have a concert scheduled a month from now and I planned to propose on stage. I've already talked to our manager and CEO and they fully support it. I bought a ring last week with Wheein and Hwasa while Yong was out shopping with Yonghee." Moonbyul pulled out a small black box and showed Mr.Kim the ring before placing it back in her jacket pocket. "It's beautiful she will love it." "Are you two just going to sit around and chat all day. Your breakfast will get cold." The two heard Mrs.Kim yell from inside the house. They soon joined their loved ones in the dining room for breakfast.

  The four ate peacefully and chatted about Solar's and Moonbyul's visit home. Solar informed them of all the places she took her girlfriend. After breakfast Solar joined her father outside for some tea while Moonbyul stayed to help her mother clean up breakfast. "So Moonbyul what was it you and Mr.Kim talked about. Nothing bad I hope." She glanced over at Moonbyul who had been drying a plate off with a towel. "Nothing bad Mrs.Kim. I actually asked him and now will ask you for permission to marry Yongsun." Moonbyul had just enough time to set the rag she was holding down before Mrs.Kim wrapped her in a hug. " Oh honey, I'm so happy of course I give my permission. I can't believe your going to be my daughter-in-law. You two are perfect for each other. Now do you have a ring picked out." Moonbyul laughed while she reached in her jacket to show the ring again. "I will have two tickets to the concert and a hotel booked for you and Mr.Kim. Yong doesn't know about any of this." Mrs.Kim hugged Moonbyul again excited over the announcement and they both joined their significant others in the backyard. Solar was chasing Jjing Jjing around while Daebak had fallen asleep at her fathers feet from a full day of exercise. The girls said their goodbyes before heading back to Seoul and finally crashing for the evening in their bed embraced in each others arms.
