A Different Outcome

~normal POV:~
Everyone teleported outside just in time to dodge Jewel's attacks. "You can't escape that easily!!" Jewel said as she readied another attack. Her voice was combined with the other person's demon voice. "Whoa! What's gotten into you, Jewel?!" Slime yelled as she ran outside. The person noticed Slime's appearance and made Jewel charge at her using aqua jet. Slime noticed and quickly got out of the way, just barely missing the attack. "Guys, what happened to Jewel?!" she asked. "She's not in control of her body. Someone else is controlling her in her mind," Ruby explained. "Is it one of the shadows?" Slime asked as she dodged another attack. "No, it's not them. They're good now," Tigris answered. "Then who?!" "ENOUGH!!" the person yelled using her demonic voice. She then made Jewel grab Slime by the tail, jump up, and slam her on the ground. "AAH—!!" "Hehehe, now to deal with the rest of you."

~Jewel's POV:~
I look at what this person made me do: she made me almost kill everyone. "Jewel....you've gotta....snap out of it," Tigris said, severely injured and out of breath. The person chuckled and said in her demonic voice, "Hehehe, it's funny how you think she can hear you. She is under my control and only does what I command her to do." I tried to fight back, to tell her that she's wrong, to reassure everyone that I'm still here, but...I could barely find the strength to do so. In my mind, I could hear her voice: "Awwh, look at that, the almighty Jewel is now helpless and vulnerable." "Why are you doing this?" I asked, tears forming in my eyes. "SO YOU CAN FEEL WHAT I'VE FELT MY ENTIRE LIFE!!" Suddenly, she shows me what she meant by that. She was...abandoned, abused, and hated. I freeze, I'm shocked. "You don't have to do this. You don't have to let your anger out on others. You can forget your past, and start over," I tell her, trying to change her mind. I then feel my body go limp, as I feel myself falling. Someone caught me, though. I hear voices, then pass out.

~within Jewel's mind~
"Thanks for coming, I guess." I turn around to see the stranger again. She wasn't using her demonic voice anymore, and she looked as though she was acting shy. We stay silent for a while, every time she makes eye contact with me, she quickly looks away. After a while, I finally ask, "Do you wanna talk?" She seemed to be taken aback by my question, since she looks surprised. "Sure, I guess," she answers after taking a deep breath. "Why'd you do it? Why would do all of that?" "If I'm being completely honest with you, I was jealous." I was shocked, surprised, and confused as to why she was jealous of me. "Jealous? Why?" "Because, you always had it easy. You have friends, a home, and a loving family. I didn't get any of that!!" "I understand that you had a terrible childhood, and I'm sorry. But you shouldn't have taken your anger out on us." "I know, I realize that now. I'm- I'm sorry." I walk up to her, and give her a hug. "It's ok."
