~within Jewel's mind~
"*sigh* It feels nice to be here agai- o-oh! W-who are you?" I asked, startled by the presence of another person. She wasn't anything I've seen before. "Ah, so we finally meet," she said, coming closer. "It's about time you came to visit." "W-who are you and w-what do you want?" I asked with fear lacing my voice. She chuckled and said in a demonic voice, "I want you to suffer."
~outside of Jewel's mind~
I quickly shot up out of bed, breathing heavily. 'W-who, who was that? What was that?! What do they mean?!' I thought frantically. I heard someone chuckle in my head, "Hehehe, you know I can hear you, right? And I know you can hear me." "Who are you and what do you want?" I asked the voice with a bit of fear and nervousness lacing my voice. The voice chuckled again, "I told you already, I want to see you suffer." She ended that last part with her demon voice again. "Ok, but you still didn't tell me who you are." "That's...not important right now," she said, sounding unsure. "Why?" I asked, confused. "IT'S NONE OF YOUR CONCERN!!" she replied in her demon voice. I visibly flinched at her sudden outburst, luckily no one else was in the room with me to witness it. "Why do you want me to suffer? I did nothing to you," I asked trying to understand her. "You'll find out soon," she responded.
Ruby's POV:
I knocked on the door to the room Jewel was in. "Hey, Jewel, you feeling any better?" There wasn't a response. I knocked again. "Jewel? You alright?" Still no response. I then get extremely worried and go in the room. "Jewel...? *gasp* Oh no!" Once inside the room, I see Jewel laying on the floor, unconscious. I rush to her side, turning her on her back, she's hurt. "Jewel? Jewel wake up. Wake up Jewel!" I keep calling her name, gently shaking her to try and wake her up, but it doesn't work. 'Come on, you've got to wake up,' I think to myself as I continue to shake her. After a while, she starts to slowly wake up, much to my relief. "Mmm, Ruby? What happened?" she asked as she was sitting up. "I don't know, I came into the room and saw you hurt and unconscious on the ground. But thank goodness you're ok," I say while giving her a protective hug. She hugs back, but starts crying. "W-what's wrong?" I asked, worried and confused.Jewel's POV:
"I'm in danger," I say while crying. Ruby seems to have been shocked at what I said as she hugs me tighter. "What do you mean?" she asks while stroking my hair. "You better not tell her. If you do, you're just putting yourself and everyone else in more danger," the voice threatened. I gasped and squeezed Ruby harder as more tears fell from my eyes. 'G-go away,' I thought to the voice. "And if I don't?" I was starting to get really scared since I didn't know what this person was going to do. "Ruby, please, help me," I managed out. "W-what is it? Tell me what's wrong!" "I- I can't. I-if I do, I-i'll put everyone in danger." I'm guessing she understood that something—no, someone—had got into my head, cause she "connected our minds" to see what was going on.~inside Jewel's mind~
"Ah, hello, so nice of you to join us," the person said as she noticed Ruby. "So, you're the one who's been causing Jewel trouble," Ruby said, staring down the unknown person. "That would be correct," the person responded. "Why can't you just leave her alone?" "Because, she deserves to feel what I've felt my entire life, hatred." "Look, we don't know what happened in your life, we don't even know you. So why do you feel the need to see me suffer?" I asked, trying to defend myself. The person just darkly chuckles, almost on the verge of tears. "You'll never understand," she said, her normal voice getting drowned out by her demon voice.
~outside of Jewel's mind; normal POV:~
Ruby jolted awake as she left Jewel's mind, yet Jewel was unconscious again. "Yo Ruby, you a'ight?" someone asked, sounding concerned. When she looked up, Ruby saw her sisters, her girlfriend, and her boyfriend looking down at her. "Imma ask again, you a'ight?" her sister, Tigris, asked. "Y-yeah, I'm fine but, what are y'all doing here?" "What are we doing here?! We were worried sick about you two!!" her girlfriend, Amethyst, snapped. "What happened to y'all? When we came in, you were both passed out," asked Ruby and Amethyst's boyfriend, Jake. Ruby then remembered the passed out Jewel in her arms. She looked down and saw her still asleep, and breathed a breath of relief. "I've gotta tell y'all something very important, so listen closely," Ruby said.

"Hold up, WHAT?!" Jake screamed once Ruby finished telling them all what was going on. "Yeah, and we don't know what she's gonna do next," Ruby said, sounding disappointed. "Well, we gotta get that stranger outta Jewel's head!" Tigris stated, punching the palm of her hand. "How can we? We don't know who she is, what she's capable of, what she's going to do, or what she's already doing!" Ruby's sister, Black Ruby, said. All of a sudden, Jewel started to wake up, but she wasn't acting like herself. Once she opened her eyes, they were glowing red. "Go on, do your job," the person said. This time, everyone heard her. "Jewel....? What are yo-" Grey Ruby asked before getting cut off. "TIME TO DIE!!!"A/N: D.J.: Seriously?! Another cliffhanger? DUDE!!
Me: It was getting too long. Besides, the next part I was originally gonna add makes a perfect beginning for the next chapter.
D.J.: ...Yeah that makes sense.
Me: Anyways, I hope y'all enjoyed this U L T R A L O N G chapter, and if you're confused about any of this, don't hesitate to ask, I'd be glad to explain. Also, while I was working on this, I kept thinking about starting a new book about my O.C. Tigris in an "alternate dimension" that combined the Pokémon world with the dimension all of(most of) my O.C.s live. If you're interested, please let me know.
D.J.: Why not just go ahead and do it? I mean not tryna sound desperate or anything but, no one's really been reading the new chapters. I mean, let's be honest, some of those reads are from either you or your younger cousin.
Me: ...Well you're right about that. But still, I want to know if people are actually interested in something like that.
D.J.: Yeah, I get ya.
Me: Anyways, that's all from me, buh-bye!
