(Y/N) locked up her and her husband's house before walking to the street. She held out a hand for a taxi to pick her up and take her to one of the fanciest restaurants in town. Her crimson dress flowed in the mind as a taxi stopped next to her. (Y/N) got inside and told the drivers where she was going.

Katsuki had made reservations for him and his wife tonight. He's been so busy with his hero work that they've barely been able to spend any time together. Katsuki and (Y/N) had planned many dates before, but Katsuki never  showed up due to his work. He'd recently been renamed as a pro hero, so work only became more stressful and more time consuming.

(Y/N) was pretty used to being stood up now, but just this once she was hoping that he would drop his work for her. The feeling of loneliness had been familiar to (Y/N) due to all the stand ups. She'd been going to bed alone for the past month or so. It was like her and Katsuki were both strangers who lived in the same house and shared the same bed but never talked.

"Thank you." (Y/N) said politely to the driver while giving him his money and a tip. When she stepped out of the car, there were some catcalls sent her way. The dress she wore matched Katsuki's eyes and was tight around her chest and torso. The skirt was fluffy and flowy making it all too comfortable. (Y/N) had a small handbag with her phone, chapstick, keys. Ya know, the essentials.

The dress was very beautiful, but (Y/N) didn't like how well it fit her in the chest. It made her feel uneasy when she was in the streets alone, even if she had a quirk to protect herself. Katsuki promised he would never let anything happen to his lover, but that promise has felt like it's been fading away with each day that went by.

(Y/N) was extra giddy as she walked up to the door. Her expectations were high, expecting Katsuki to actually be there for once. She told the waiter who was going to seat her that she had reservations. The man smiled politely before leading her through the restaurant, stopping at a table in the middle of the room for two.

(Y/N) wasn't surprised when she saw the table empty. He's just late, she kept telling herself that, but as the time went by, that thought began to slip from her mind leaving her to believe he stood her up once more.

"What would you like to drink?" The waiter asked. (Y/N) tapped on her phone case. "Just get me the most expensive wine you have please." She said, knowing the bill would be paid by Katsuki. He deserved it. Standing her up so many times.

Out the corner of her eye, (Y/N) could see a table of four young men who looked to be around her age, whispering and glancing at her occasionally. This happened every time. She gets stood up and some dude tries hitting on her.

Tonight (Y/N) actually felt good about herself. When she looked at herself in the mirror before she left her home, she felt so pretty, so gorgeous. (Y/N)'s phone lit up, showing Katsuki's contact that read 'Katsuki'. It used to be something so sweet and cheesy, but (Y/N) has been feeling so left out in his life she changed it back to normal. As if they weren't even together anymore.

"Hello?" She asked, making her voice as sweet as she could muster with how sad she felt.

"Hey." Katsuki said as if he didn't just stand her up. "I can't make it tonight. Works got my ass."

(Y/N)'s look of hole fell immediately, tears building in her eyes. "Oh... I-it's okay.. I guess I'll see you when I do.. bye."

"Bye." Katsuki said, pausing for a little. "Love you." (Y/N) didn't respond, leaving silence over the line. Katsuki took a deep breath. "Love you." He repeated.

"Yeah..." (Y/N) said before hanging up. Her hands that held her phone fell down to her lap, frozen. It felt like Katsuki didn't really mean the word 'love' anymore when he told her that. It only sounded empty now. (Y/N) called the waitress over, telling him that the bill is handled by Katsuki.
