I ran up to Zenjitsu cause I know I can't let him do this. He can't... Because I love him. I knew that hugging wasn't going to help him. So I did the second thing I think that could save him from ending it all. I run up to Zenitsu, throwing my sword across the room, I wrap my arms around his waist, I pull him close. I look into his honey eyes, he looks back into my crimson eyes. Before closing the space in between us...

"I love you..."

Before he could say anything, I close the space in between us and pull him into a passionate kiss. I immediately as for entrance. He seems to hesitate for a bit before granting me access. This was the first time I got dominance, so I tried not to mess up. And to make him feel good. I glide my tongue all around Zenitsu's mouth. Leaving not spot untouch. I feel Zenitsu flinch and shiver from all of this, but soon enough, he ended up melting into the kiss. I... Wanted Zenitsu to know how much he means to me, and how much I love him... I don't believe love at first sight but.... Something about Zenitsu... Makes me all warm inside.

I don't want anyone to hurt you... I swear that I will protect you... I want you to be mine... Cause I love you..

Zenitsu's POV

I couldn't take it anymore. I got Tanjiro hurt because of me... me... I'm useless. I just get people hurt. All because of me. I can't even defend myself. From getting beat and from getting assaulted. There's absolutely no point of me being here. I was just an amusement for the people to treat me like trash.

But I knew Tanjiro would try to stop me. I wanted to see what he would do. So as I put the katana up to my neck, I waited just a second to see how Tanjiro would react. What I didn't expect was for him to kiss me.... HIM! KAMADO TANJIRO KISS A LOW LIFE KITSUNES NAME AGATSUMA ZENITSU!!??? *sigh* Why is my life so weird? I mean, what are you supposed to do when a hot guy is kissing you?!

I flinch from this, cause I didn't expect it. I don't know how, but it was good.. How Tanjiro kissed me. He got to the entrance pretty quickly. I wanted to fight for dominance, but I gave in. I can't hold back, it was too good. I melted into the kiss, my mind spinning. Tanjiro.... I love you too. I close my eyes to just enjoy this moment. The feeling in my heart that I always felt when I'm Tanjiro... It hurted but I couldn't feel it. All I felt was this warm feeling, and that sweet melody, and Tanjiro scent... I love everything about him.

I don't want this to end, but, just like weather, it can change in an instant.

They had to end the kiss because they needed oxygen. A string of saliva from both their soft plump lips. Small tears running down on Zenitsu's soft red cheeks. Zenitsu looks into Tanjiro's ruby red eyes. Pull him into a hug and say...

"I'm sorry... I-I Love you...."

He then hides his face into Tanjiro's shoulder. Tanjiro giggles in response. Tanjiro then's whisper into his ears

"I love you too <3"

Before picking him up bridal style, and bringing a very red Zenitsu to his futon

~The next day~

Zenitsu wakes up to Tanjiro hugging him. Zenitsu blushes and tries to slowly get out of Tanjiro's warm embrace. He then sees a smol little Nezuko from her box smirking. Even though you can't really see from her bamboo, you can tell that she is.

I look at her, I then go all tsundere on her, blushing and screaming saying it's not what it looks like. Unforntaly, Tanjiro woke up. Ahhhh fudge, me and my loud mouth.

"Zenitsu?"

"Y-yea?"

"What are you doing?"

"O-oh, well I have to go buy more food."

"OH! Then I'll come with you!"

"E-eh?! No Tanjiro, it's ok, you can stay back with Nezuko chan. And you're still hurt."

"It is nothing but a scratch, lets go! I insist!"

So stubborn, but I know he won't take no for an answer. I sigh and say that he came with me. He was so happy like a puppy. Damn you Kamado Tanjiro. How can you be so cute? W-what am I thinking? Be gone gay thoughts. I have to go get my groceries.

A/n

(So Zenitsu can go outside, and not many people know about kitsunes. They just know that they are fantasies. So of course Zenitsu has to hide his tails and ears. Zenitsu is kinda like a spirit. He can be seen, but when he wants to, he can not be seen.)

Nezuko was sleeping, and me and Tanjiro started to walk to the town not far away from my temple. It was later when I realized that we were holding h-hands. Oh meh gosh Tanjiro, you can't do this in front of people on less you're a couple.

"Ah, ohayo Zenitsu!"

"O-ohayo gramps!"

"Hmmmm? Who is this? Did you finally get yourself a boyfriend? Hmmmmm? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)"

"Ahhhh?! HE'S NOT M-MY BOYFRIEND!!! HE'S A FRIEND!!!!!!!"

Ouch, just a friend? Nice one Zen, straight through my heart.

"Alright alright, if you say so."

"Hmpf! Please have a good day gramps! Hmpf!"

" Hehee"

We walk away with our hands entwined together. I don't think he noticed yet, so I wont tell him. His hands are nice and warm.

"Heheeh you look cute when you're pouting Zen."

"EEEEEHHHH!?!?! YOU CAN'T GO SAYING THESE THINGS TO PEOPLE WHEN YOU THAT HOWETT!!!"

"Ehhh? You think I'm hot?" *smirks*

"eh-EHHHHHHH!?!?! AHHHHH LETS JUST GO GET FOOD!!!"

They ran somewhere because people started to stare at them. Still holding hands uwu. After they got their groceries. They decided to take a walk around. They ended up near a pond. Sitting there watching the fishes swim by. It was a pretty nice day. The sky was a bright baby blue with no clouds in sight. The weather was absolutely amazing. Some small breeze here and there. With cherry blossoms falling where they were sitting. ( sounds familiar owo)

It was all perfect, he was also perfect. Tanjiro got up, and gave Zenitsu a small peck on the lips.

"I love chu~"

"... I love you too .////."

"Hehehe Lets go."
