Chapter 19

It had been 2 days since we had visited Chloe in the hospital, I still wasn't sure what to feel or to think of it all. In one sense I was heartbroken but in another I felt partly responsible for letting her leave and not standing up to Daniele I could of saved her.

We had a conference today about our new album I wasn't entirely up for it I don't think any of the boys were either.

We just didn't have the passion for it, it never changed how we felt for our fans they were the whole reason why we were so successful. Chloes condition had hit headlines and we were getting bombarded with thoughtful messages from our fans and our supporters it really helped us out.

I got up and got ready it didn't take me long there was a knock at the door I stood up and answered it. It was a young girl she looked around Chloes age. I frowned she slapped me.

"How dare you not tell me Chloe was in hospital?" the girl said.

It took me a moment to realise who she was, it was Chloes best friend delilah.

"Delilah?" I asked.

She nodded her expression hard and angry

"I'm sorry" I said trying to hold it together.

Her expression softened and opened her arms to me for a hug i wrapped my arms around her and let a few tears escape.

"I can't imagine what your going through" I sobbed into her shoulder.

She pulled away wiping her own tears with the small of her sleeve.

"Chloe really loved you, she always told me how awful she felt for how things were with you and her when she left" she smiled slightly.

I nodded.

"I've got this conference do you want to see Chloe so your not on your own?" I asked.

she nodded.

"I'm just so happy she's alive she could of came a lot worse of and we have to be grateful for that" she said staying positive.

I nodded and looked at the floor as I felt my tears falling again she lifted her hand under my chin and brought it up.

"I just miss her so much" I said bitting my lip to hold back the tears.

She nodded.

"We havent lost her yet, you have the chance to fall in love with her all over again now, not many men get the chance to do that ashton when you love someone like she loves you memories don't change that" she said hugging me one last time

I took it in for a moment, a small smile made its way onto my face. Chloe loved me and that's good enough for me to hold onto.

A knock at the door interrupted us Michael was stood there with all the boys, in light of everything that is happening Michael decided to forgive like it was more Talia he was mad at.

"Delilah" Michael said shocked.

She looked at him a blankly with no expression.

"Hmm" she said glaring at him.

I stood there awkwardly, not sure what to do.

"We have a conference to get to let me know how it goes,yeah?" I asked her.

She nodded still glaring at Michael.

I walked to the rest of the boys and closed the door behind me we walked to the elevator and pressed the button for the lobby it was a silent ride down, Callum and Luke occasionally trying to make conversation nothing seemed to come off it though. Once we reached the lobby we were rushed into a car by frank, outside the hotel with flooded with reporters trying to question us. We got into the cars safely, the drive to the conference wasn't long we soon arrived at the large building.
