Chapter 15

The car ride was silent until we reached the traffic lights.

"So how did you meet Niall" Ashton asked curiously.

I looked at him through the corner of my eye as I let out a breath I didn't know I had kept in.

"He picked me up and offered me a job and a place to stay when I landed in New York with know where to go after Michael didn't want me actually after no one wanted me anymore" I sighed fighting back the tears.

The tension between us just got worse with my little story.

Ashton sighed.

"I know what happened with luke and talia" he said quitely.

I pulled over to sidewalk and turned the engine off and looked at him.

"what do you mean you know what happened between luke and talia there's no talia and luke she's with Michael" I said raising my voice getting frustrated.

Ashton placed both hands on my shoulders to calm me down.

"Danielle videoed them and has been blackmailing them for months she actually black mailed me too" he said looking into my eyes.

I sat there boiling with rage.

Everything was starting to add up talia and luke scared whenever they got a text the warnings they gave me about Ashton, how talia put the blame on me for the newspaper article it was all Danielle.

"I can't believe this" I said as I slumped in my seat.

Ashton patted my shoulder.

"I've got to get you to Niall we should probably go" I said starting the engine.

I pulled back onto the main road and drove up to Nialls apartment I parked the car and stepped out once Ashton was out I locked the car.

"Chlo can we talk" Ashton said holding my hand.

I look at his big hand over my small pettite one I shook my head and untangled my hand from his.

"We should go inside" I said as I opened the door for him.

We walked up the stairs to Nialls apartment the walk up was silent. We finally reached Nialls apartment.

Sam just nodded at us as we walked through the door all eyes landed on us when we walked in.

"Ash" Niall said as he engulfed Ashton in a hug.

Ashton hugged him back giving him a bright smile.

"Shall we talk in my office" Niall said quietly.

Ashton nodded.

As they walked out the room everyone started talking amongest themselves. Harry walked up to me and pulled me into one of nialls walk in wardrobes.

"What are you doing" I asked him.

Without saying a word he brought me into a hug I stood there till he hugged me tighter I slowly wrapped my arms around his torso.

"I thought you might need me" he said softly.

After those words escaped his lips a tear drop fell from my eyes I buried my head into his chest. As I sobbed into him he just stroked my hair.

"Chlo I hate to see you like this" he said placing his chin on my head.

I continued to sob into his shirt.

"I've lost everyone I love Harry my life was finally picking up before he came back in" I sobbed not bothering to hold back anymore.

Harry sighed as we stood there in each others embrace.

Ashton P.O.V.

I walked into Nialls office and took a seat on the smooth white leather chair in front of his desk. I feel like a CEO business man.

"So we haven't met up in a year and a half so this must be serious" Niall said as he closed the door behind him.

He took a seat on the sofa by his desk and made himself comfy. May as well cause man will he get a shock after I tell him my story.

"I'm in deep shit Ni I honestly don't know what to do cause either way this is not going to end well" I told him brushing a hand through my hair in frustration.

Niall gestured for me to go on.

"2 year ago, Luke and talia hooked up and Danielle videoed since she videoed them she has been blackmailing them to do her bidding and threatening to show the video to the media if they reject" I said finishing the story.

Niall stood up as he came and took the seat in front of me.

"So let me get this struaght your girlfriend has been blackmailung Luke and talia over hooking up, what has she been blackmailing them for?" he asked very confused.

I sat there silently for a moment thinking of the best way to see it.

"Me and Dani haven't been happy for a long time and when we were on tour with Chloe we bonded really well so well we kissed and if she didn't stop me we would of had sex" I said standing up and pacing back and forth.

"Well first thing is Luke has to tell Michael what has happened" He said.

I nodded

"Secondly, she is breaking the law by having that in her possession so if she does sell it to the media she will be out in prison" he continued.

"So we have a plan then" I said cheerfully.

I went to leave the room before Niall placed a hand on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry you had to go through this Ash I really though Danielle was a great girl" he said sadly.

I nodded and opened the door I walked down the hall when my phone vibrated, I dug my phone out of my pocket it was a text.

You need to get here now band meeting - Luke

Chloe came out of a room with Harry her eyes were puffy.

I walked up to her and pulled her aside.

"Ashton I have a job to do-"

I cut her off by placing a finger on her lips.

"I think Michael is going to need you Chlo"

She scoffed and went to walk out before I grabbed her arm and pulled her back. Her face was so close to mine when I pulled her back I could feel her breath on my cheeks and her heartbeat beating harder.

"Luke is confessing Chlo all that he was done was because of talia who was blackmailed by Danielle he needs you we all need you" I said lowly

She thought for a second as she was thinking I held myself back from kissing her. She looked back at me and smirked.

"Are you okay Ash" she whispered into my hear lowly.

I cleared my throat.

"We should go" I said figetting.

I walked up to Niall giving him a hug goodbye.

I gave Chloe a look as she walked up to us both.

"Niall I know this is short notice but I need to take 2 weeks off I know you need me but my family does" she said nervously.

Niall brought her in for a big hug.

"Go get your family back" he said giving us both a great bug smile

We both thanked him and left we walked out of his apartment and down the stairs this time it wasn't awkward it was peaceful.

"Are you ready?" I asked her as we got in the car.

She nodded.

"My brother needs me I'm always ready for that" she sighed.
