it was time for yuli & alvaro's date, a moment they've been waiting for. yuli was getting ready for her date as yessi was curling her hair. "this one or the purple one?" yuli said looking in the mirror as she saw the red sweater. "the red one, this one!" yessi said as she loosened the curls in her cousins hair. "thank you for doing my hair yessi," yuli said smiling at her cousin who was softly playing with her hair. "anytime!" yessi said softly smiling at the thought that her cousin would also help her get ready for her date with ale.

"so where are we going?" yuli asked alvaro as she looked out the window to see her neighborhood all sunny. "i was thinking this place at the corner," alvaro said. yuli had gone to irvine tons of times but she didn't like going to restaurants there. "it's called tia rosa's desserts," alvaro said his mouth already drooling of thinking of the pan dulce and ice cream there was. "oh! do they have empanadas?" yuli asked, those were her favorite. "yeah!" alvaro said laughing at the girl. "but first, we're going to the recreational center," alvaro said. the recreational center was like a park but better the swings were better and it was much more modern. "oh okayy!" yuli said smiling looking at the road.

at the park, both yuli and varo had a great time, they got on the swings together, varo got stuck on a slide but it was all good. at rosa's panadería, they picked their pan and ice cream and ate in the car. they talked about how yuli's grandparents met in irvine. they laughed a ton and they both grew to love the noise and sight of happiness.
alvaro dropped the girl off at her house and went to ale's house. he wanted to spend time with his bro because obviously they were like brothers. they were playing call of duty when alejandro started getting tired, they hopped off and decided to have a sleepover. "so where did you go today?" alejandro asked as alvaro was changing into some of alejandro's sweatpants. "nowhere really," alvaro said going into the bed and into tiktok. "oh cool, god look at this tiktok!" alejandro said both boys laughed as they say a tiktok of a girl dancing and failing miserably. after a bit, the boys turned off the lights and phones and tried going to bed. "wait alejandro, actually i did go somewhere today," alvaro said in the dark. "where did you go?" alejandro said interested in what he was going to say. "i went on a date with yuliana!" alvaro said happily. "you what?" alejandro said loudly choking on his spit. alejandro went and turned on the light again. "i just went on a date," alvaro said innocently. "bruh! you're so stupid!" alejandro screamed at the boy who was his bestfriend. "all i did was ask her!" alvaro said, with his low. "why did you even ask her on a date?" alejandro yelled once again. "because i like her, you're overreacting!" alvaro yelled back, he wasn't staying quiet. "me overreacting? why'd you ask out the girl i lik- shit," alejandro said instantly regretting everything.
