10 years ago something horrible happened. No one knows who caused it or how it began but power plants all over the world began to explode. Building caught on fire, people were running for there lives,and buildings were crashing to the ground. The fire was traveling fast burning everything in its past. In the city called "The Dark Ones," a father and a mother along with their 16 year old daughter, are trying to escape their hotel building as it collapsing around them. The building was falling faster then they could run. They made it out safely or so they thought. A huge piece of residue from the building fell on top of the father and as the mother was racing to her husband's aid a flag pool broke off from a near by building and was heading for her daughter. "Shelby move," the mother exclaimed as she pushed her daughter out of the way. The end of the flag pool went right through the mothers stomach and she collasped. "Mom no!" Shelby screamed through tears as she ran to her mothers side. In almost a whisper the mother said,"run shelby run as fast as you can."No mom not without you." Taking a hold of her daughters hand the mother struggles to speak," you must sweetheart, you must survive, you must run and never look back. Here, take this," she hands her daughter a necklace, " take this and no matter where you go or where you are i'll always be there, now go shelby run and don't look back."
