A month had gone past since the gala. Shelby was working hard on her powers each day. Everyone had notice how she had changed. She was more fierce. She was angry and no one had see so much hatred in her eyes. Jason, Mason, and Ryker tried to help her but nothing they did helped. They finally decided to call the only person they knew she would listen to. Marcus.
Jason: Marcus thank you for coming
Marcus: how long has she been like this
Jason: since the gala shes been practicing with her powers and as you know she maybe powerful but her human body isn't strong enough to with hold her powers.
Marcus: unless she becomes immortal that's why she does her best not to use them. She's is trying to become the leader she was meant to be. She doesn't want to be afraid anymore Jason.
Jason: I know but she's not alone everyone in this building cares about her and worships her because she has done everything in her power to protect them but she's blinded by the hate she has for Jackson.
Marcus: he made her into something that can't be undone
Jason: your her friend and her greatest ally Marcus please help her.

Jason: they don't understand what's going on all the know is that their mom is extremely angry and taking it out on herself and everyone else

Marcus made his way to Shelbys office hoping he could help Shelby before does something she regrets.
*knock*
Shelby: what?
Marcus:* opens the door* is that anyway to greet a friend
Shelby: what do you want Marcus
Marcus: i want to know why you are acting like a bitch. Yelling at your beautiful daughters? Everyone in this building is concerned for you.
Shelby: what do you want me to do?
Marcus: lessen the anger and your hatred because this person you've become is not the person I recognize.
Shelby: don't you get it the only way to become stronger is to train and hatred and anger has made me strong Marcus:I know you want to be stronger and I know you don't want to be afraid anymore but this... this isn't the way. Shelby: mother( shelby looks up at marcus in tears) Sierra? Amelia? My children? Leader and protector of 30,000 people. I think i forgot that for a while.

Marcus: i have an issue to attend to I'll come check on you later. Now fix this.
Marcus leaves
Shelby: through Bluetooth- Mason bring my children to me i need to talk to them

15 minutes later
*knock*
Shelby: come in please

Shelby: thank mason. By the way mason i'll need a meeting with you, Ryker, jason, and Kathryn after im done

Mason leaves
Sierra: are you mad at us mommy
Shelby: no baby
Amelia: why yell at us mommy
Shelby: im so sorry babies i was so full of anger and hatred I forgot the most important thing. My baby girls and the people I protect. You are my world babies. I love you so much.
Sierra&Amelia: love you too mommy
Shelby: come here babies.
Shelby hugged her daughters tight
Shelby: i have something important to do now but later we can do something fun
Sierra& Amelia: okay mommy

And then the both of them left
Shelby(on the phone) Marcus are you free
Marcus: yes I just finished with the issue I need to take care of. Are you calm now.
Shelby: yes. You have news of Jackson
Marcus: i do. Will you be able to handle it
Shelby: yes
Marcus: i'll be right over
* hung up*
Shelby( through Bluetooth) Jason, Kathryn,Mason and Ryker to my office
All together: right away
They all made it into her office
Shelby: first I want to start with that I am extremely sorry for the way i have acted.
Mason: you were blinded by fear and anger
Shelby: dont give me an excuse
Kathryn: a leader shouldn't apologize for their actions yet you do which makes you a great leader
Shelby: thank you. The main reason I called you here was Marcus was able to figure out what Jackson's plan is and he's on his way here.
Ryker: did he give you a clue.
Shelby: no he would not tell me... till I calmed down
*knock*
Shelby: who is it?
Marigold: marigold madame Marcus is here says important
Shelby: let him on marigold and please check on my daughters for me
Marigold: will do madame

Shelby: yes old friend, now tell us what you know
Marcus: its not good, he's planning a war, he wants to turn all the mafias against you. I've talk to a few mafia leaders and they said they'd never join him after what he did to you. They would stand by you through anything, but...
Shelby: but what
Marcus: there are some who don't know because their scared. Your powers are unknown to them but they also know its not your fault.
Shelby: but I never use them I cant their like a weakness besides my power of extreme strength my other powers make me weak
Marcus: yes, but they don't know that
Kathryn: how do we show them
Marcus: they need physical proof that you won't use your powers to kill
Shelby: you know more than I that's not going to happen what a mafia leader fears they refuse to understand and Jackson knows that. And that he can use that to his advantage. Telling the lies that they will believe. There will be a war and there's nothing I can do to stop it.
Ryker: there has to be something you can do
Shelby: ryker listen these men these mafia leaders refuse to listen to reason believe me I know I've been dealing even when I was still married to Jackson. They believe in power if someone has a power unknown to them they will do whatever it takes to get it. Mafia leaders are known for having people on the inside. I have people on the insides powerful people who I only use if I need to. Not important but what I'm saying is that they don't listen to anyone.
Kathryn: what about our friends the mafia who are on their side
Marcus: they are with us but they don't want a war. Like shelby they want to avoid blood shed. So we would stand alone if a war started.
Shelby: is there anything else you found
Marcus: no but if i do I'll let you know
Shelby: thank you
*Marcus and shelby hug and then marcus leaves*
Shelby: go get some food guys I need to think about a plan
Kathryn: alright
Mason: let us know if you got something
