Everyone could see how angry Shelby was. She kept going out to the abandon farm house. She set fire to things and punched trees till the broke in half. The people she trusted the most had betrayed her. Ryker wanted to talk to her he just didn't know what to say. He was part of Mason's revenge squad so he was sure she saw him as a traitor too.
Amelia: daddy why don't you talk to mommy anymore
Ryker: I don't think she wants to talk to little one
Sierra: but you love mommy right
Ryker: very much little one
Amelia: help her daddy. Want mommy back
Ryker I'll try my best little one
Ryker left as soon as he could to find her. He found her in the field surrounded by fire.
Ryker: Shelby?
Shelby diminishes the fire
Shelby: what could you possibly want
Ryker: I didnt come here to cause you grief or put you in anymore pain if that's what you think
Shelby: you dont want to know what I'm thinking
Ryker: Shelby I'm sorry. It wasn't my intent to betray you. I love you. I love your children more than I could ever love myself. Your my family
Shelby: I don't blame you for what happened. I blame Mason he lead the revenge mission.
Ryker: he lead but I follow. The people are scared. Youngblood's are out and like you said they hunt for blood. You said you were thinking of a plan have you thought more about it recently?
Shelby: I want to fight this with all of you but right now I don't know who to trust besides my family
Ryker: the people are your family
Shelby: yeah thats why they doubted my leadership. Look I want revenge as much as the next but I'm not looking forward to spilling anymore of my people blood even if I am angry with them.
Ryker: you aren't thinking of fighting alone are you?
Shelby looks away
Ryker: you may be almighty and powerful but even a leader can't fight alone.
Shelby: I know but I don't know what else to do
Jason: then let us fight with you. We will fight with you even if we must die for you
Jason had stuck up with them with Mason and Matt
Shelby: you don't know what your asking.
Mason: I want to make things right even if it means dying in the process. The Youngblood's have been causing too many problems and this needs to end. So whats you plan.
Shelby: I will try and distract them as much as I can while most of you get through their building. They don't protect their baracade very well because they don't think that anyone will attack them because no one really would try. Their leader Richard is full of himself his mind his weak I'd be able to to melt his brain easily.
Matt: wait you can melt someone's brain.
Shelby: if I make my voice haunting enough. I should be able too. You just do you best to stay alive and kill as much as you can and try to do it stealthy. Mason, Jason you both are skilled in archery it would be a good idea to to use that skill and take them out silently. Avoid using a gun as much as you could. It easily give you away. We go tomorrow at dark when the visibility is limited. Make sure your ready when the time comes
Matt: you got it.
Shelby: get some rest you'll need it for tomorrow. Mason let me know how many will be coming with us.
