Chapter 7: Dates and Deals

November 23rd

James' P.O.V

I was in the gym on my own, working out just like always, enjoying the peace and quiet around me. I still like to work out since I left campus, back at Cherub two years ago. I worked hard for where I am today and didn't intend to let it go all down the drain for nothing.

It was around six pm right now and no one really comes here at this time so I had the place to myself. However, I couldn't help the feeling that a certain Madison Smith might show up and start her little game again since Kerry wasn't around.

Or so I thought....

I was doing push-ups right now and was on number fifty-four when I felt someone's torso, laying on top of me. I stopped on my fifty-fifth push-up and hoped it wasn't her...

"Have I ever told you I love your amazing body" said a fimiliar voice.

I let out a breath I didn't even know that I was holding before I spoke "Well, if you didn't then you wouldn't be enjoying the ride on my sweaty back right now" and continued with the push-ups, despite Kerry's light weight on me.

I heard her giggle as I counted my fifty-seventh push-up when she spoke "So how many push-ups have you done? A hundread, a thousand...oh wait, a million" she playfully asked, still holding onto me as she layed there on my back.

I chuckled at the comment before responding...

"Fifty-eight"

"Boooo......you can do better than that, Mr Muscle" she replied with encouragment in her voice as I smirked at her reaction.

"Well now that your here..." I trailed off as I went a little faster with the working out and felt Kerry's hands grip around me a little tighter.

We stayed silent as I was counting the amount of push-ups I have done in my head but as I got to ninety, Kerry surpirsed me...

She grabbed my left arm and pulled it behind my back in a armlock so I couldn't release it as she spoke "You need a little challenge so listen up" she whispered in my ear as I was still holding the two of us with my right arm.

I nodded as she continued "If you can finish the last ten then I might give you a special reward..." she trailed off as she planted kisses on my neck. I felt a shiver pass through me and felt Kerry's lips form into a smirk against my skin before she continued "But if you can't then you have to take me wherever I want to go tonight" she concluded and pulled her lips away from my neck.

I grinned before I spoke "Alright, you got a deal" and I felt her small hand shake my still-restrained hand, to close the deal.

I was already struggling with the first few since I spent a long period of that time holding still with one arm but contained the pain.

"Half way there" I thought to myself with deternimation as I got to number ninety-five.

"Come on, Mr Muscle, you can do it" she encouraged me as I continued.

I was almost there and I couldn't wait for this "special reward" whatever it was but just the thought of it made me smile to myself.

"Ninety-seven, ninety-eight, ninety-nine..." I kept on counting and was almost there...
