Soon her skin turns white and the breeze stops. Her eye lids and lips are blue from the cold and her crown is no where to be seen. Her dress is spread out under her and the only thing untouched by the mysterious magic is the necklace around her neck. It hums slightly and hovers slightly over her chest, its golden glow setting off a slight rainbow off the pure white snow. I rush over and hold my hands onto her stiff neck, trying and failing at heating her up. When the slightest bit of light colors her skin it reaches out then falls back into my hands. The snow is trying to falling lightly around the room but it just swirls around and never lands. This is so strange, I think as I start to panic. After my 5th try I pull back and pure rage settles in my heart. I hop to my feet, the locket around my neck burning into my skin. The burning sweater long forgotten. A strange whirring noise started up outside, or maybe it was there the whole time and I just hadn't noticed it. No matter it was still there. I took one last, lingering gaze at Swan then stepped around her to reach the door. My hand connected with a metal door nob fully covered in ice. The whirring grew louder and by now thick chucks of something was hitting on the door. Curiosity got the best off me and I flung the door open as best as possible. I let out a startled scream when my hazel eyes connected with icy cold ones. "Hello dearie, I've missed you greatly!" she said with a fake smile plastered to her face and an evil twinkle in her eyes. The ice queen pointed her palm at my chest and whispered "Moon shine bright fill the night with your light, let sleep take the girl, float her away like a skyward pearl." My brain became fuzzy and I lazily put my hands up to protect myself from any other spells she might throw my way, not that it would help. My vision was now tinted with black and was extremely blurry, the queen cackled like a little child that just received a bucket of candy and someone far away yelled "Mother what did you do?!" As I slowly drifted like a autumn leaf to the ground my hair brushed around me to lay low on the ground. Then darkness and much of it too.
