6 weeks later.

"I wish to have a girlfriend and spend my youth wonderfully," Junmyeon prayed in his heart while interlocking hands and closing eyes, then he opened his eyes and blew the candles of his birthday cake. "Happy birthday, Junmyeonnie," said Junmyeon's mom, then she kissed Junmyeon's cheek. Junmyeon smiled happily and said, "Thank you, eomma (mom)."

Junmyeon's dad gave Junmyeon the black box which he always brought to the ritual, then he said while smiling, "You are 20 now. It's time for you to take over. You have to guard this black box with your life and continue our family's tradition even after I die." Junmyeon forced to smile, he said, "Okay appa, I got it." Junmyeon's dad smiled satisfied and said, "Good son."

After having a nice dinner with his parents, Junmyeon went to his room bringing the black box given by his dad. Junmyeon put the black box on his book shelf while saying, "Haraboji, I'm sorry. I wanna do something better on April 8 next year, I don't want to spend my April 8 in the forest anymore. I hope you won't be mad at me, haraboji." Junmyeon smiled broadly while saying in his heart, "I'll find an excuse later to avoid doing the ritual."

"Wow! So you are the new guardian of the black box. Congratulation," Luhan said while munching his sandwich as he walked with Junmyeon heading to their classroom. "Stop teasing me," said Junmyeon. Luhan finished his sandwich then said while laughing, "Okay, sorry." They ran to their classroom when they heard the bell ring.

When the class was over, Luhan said, "Can you show me the black box? I'm curious wanna see it." Junmyeon replied, "I can't bring it to college, but you can come to my house if you wanna see it. I'll show it to you." Luhan asked excitedly, "Really??" Junmyeon nodded with a silent laugh.

Junmyeon went home with Luhan after college. Junmyeon's house was quiet, his parents were out visiting a friend who was sick. Junmyeon took Luhan to his room, then he showed the black box to Luhan. Junmyeon opened the black box and took out the lightstick, black card and white card.

Suddenly Sehun came into Junmyeon's room and said, "Hyung, do you have something for me to eat?" Junmyeon was startled, he quickly covered the things he showed Luhan with his bed cover, then he said to Sehun, "You can cook ramyeon yourself and make sure to clean up my kitchen before you leave." Sehun asked while laughing, "Are you seeing porn magazine, hyung?" Junmyeon said, "Just go eat your ramyeon." Sehun said while giggling, "Okay, hyung."

After Sehun left, Luhan asked, "Who is he?" Junmyeon answered, "He's just a high school student who lives next door. His name is Sehun." "Ahh, I see," said Luhan, then he took the black card and read the writings in his heart.

Luhan asked, "What language is this?" Junmyeon answered, "Dunno, my appa always read it at the ritual." Luhan took the white card that had gold writings to see, then he asked, "Why is this card blank?" Junmyeon answered, "Dunno." They both couldn't see the gold writings on the white card.

Luhan examined the lightstick and said, "This looks like a light stick for idol concert. My friend Minseok has a TVXQ light stick, it's similar to this. You insert a battery and when you press the ON button, it will light up." Junmyeon said in surprise, "Really?" Luhan nodded. Junmyeon sighed and said, "I guess my haraboji has been fooling my family all this time." Junmyeon checked the lightstick, but it had no button or anything like Luhan said.

"I must go home now. My parents will come from Beijing this weekend. I have to tidy up my apartment," said Luhan. "Okay," Junmyeon replied.

Junmyeon walked back and forth in his room while talking to himself, "Hmm... What should I do today?... Spending Sunday at home is boring... I wanna spend my youth wonderfully! ... Ah, too bad Luhan is busy with his parents, otherwise we can hang out together."

Junmyeon decided to take a walk at the nearby park. There, he saw some old people chatting, children playing bubbles and people walking with their dogs. When Junmyeon saw a couple of lovers riding a couple bike, he smiled while thinking, "It would be nice if I also have a girlfriend like that guy." Then Junmyeon lost in thoughts, imagining his dream girl.

Junmyeon flinched from his reveries when a korean-canadian girl who was being chased, accidentally bumped into him. Kris grasped the girl's hand and said, "Pearl, please... I need to focus on the game, I promise I'll do everything you ask after the match." Pearl said angrily, "Basketball or me?? Choose one!" Kris fell silent. Pearl shook off her hand from Kris's grip and said with disappointment, "Let's break up." Kris begged, "Pearl, please..."

Junmyeon felt uncomfortable to see Kris and Pearl having a fight before his eyes, so he decided to walk away from them. Just when Junmyeon was about to leave, suddenly Pearl grabbed Junmyeon's hand and asked, "Do you wanna be my boyfriend?" Junmyeon was surprised, he could only say, "Eh?... Ehm... What?" Kris asked angrily, "Pearl, what are you doing??" Pearl replied angrily, "Can't you see?? I'm looking for a new boyfriend now!" Kris shouted angrily, "Geez!!!"

Junmyeon became nervous, he said in his heart, "Oh no... Please don't involve me in your love fight... I didn't come here for this... I..." Junmyeon widened his eyes in shock when Pearl suddenly kissed him on the lips.
