Forbidden Love

Suho who had become a human, never could return to heaven anymore. While Suho and Eve lived happily in the small village on earth, the tree of life at heaven began to dry slowly, and because of that, many places on earth started to experience drought. 

"We must stop this," said Xiumin the god of snow. Chen the god of thunder asked, "Who's gonna bring Suho back?" "I will," said Kai the god of teleportation. "No, I will restore his power and bring him back to heaven," said Lay the god of healing. "Lay, you can go with Loey and Fanfan," said D.O the god of earth.

Loey transformed into a phoenix and Fanfan transformed into a dragon. Lay came down to earth riding the dragon, the phoenix flew following Lay from behind. 

Lay approached Suho who was collecting firewood in the forest. Lay said, "Please come back to heaven with me. We need you to nurture the tree of life." Suho said, "I can't. I love my wife very much. I can't leave her." Lay said, "I know you love your wife very much... But what about other humans who need water? Drought is happening everywhere because the tree of life begins to dry. If the tree of life completely dry, then all humans will die too, including your beloved wife." Suho fell silent.

Lay said, "Suho, please..." Suho said, "Can you give me time to think?" "Okay, I'll leave Loey and Fanfan with you," said Lay, then he returned to heaven alone. The phoenix and the dragon turned back into Loey and Fanfan, then they went with Suho to Eve's house.  

Suho introduced Loey and Fanfan to Eve as his cousins. "Nice to meet you. My name is Loey," said Loey the god of phoenix. "My name is Fanfan. Thank you for letting us stay here," said Fanfan the god of dragon. Eve smiled and said to Suho, "Let's have a feast to welcome your cousins." Suho nodded with a smile. 

When Eve went to the kitchen to prepare dinner, Suho said to Loey and Fanfan, "Can you two go back to heaven without me?" Loey said, "You belong to heaven, not here." Fanfan said, "Please don't sacrifice everyone in the world just to be with your wife. Don't you think that you are too selfish?" Suho fell silent. 

Suho asked, "Then, how about we take my wife along with us to heaven?" Loey replied, "What for? If you return to being a god, then you won't be able to love her anymore." Suho said with his face casting down, "I know... But still, I wanna be with her." Fanfan asked to make sure, "You realize that in order to take her to heaven, she must die, right?" Suho nodded sadly. 

Eve came out from the kitchen bringing dinner she had prepared. Suho quickly helped Eve. The four of them ate dinner while chatting with smiles and laughs. 

3 months had passed, Suho was still unable to make a decision, branches of the tree of life had dried up. Lulu the god of telepathy sent his message to Loey and Fanfan via telepathy, telling them to urge Suho to immediately return to heaven. Ztao the god of time decided to come down to earth to find Suho when Eve was washing clothes in the river.

Ztao said, "Suho, please return to heaven with me before it's too late." Suho asked, "Can you give me more time to think about it?" Ztao grabbed Suho's hand, then he took Suho to the future. Suho saw that all plants, animals and humans died because of no water. Ztao said, "If this is what you want, then you can stay on earth forever." 

Ztao took Suho back to the present time and said, "The choice is in your hand." Suho said, "Give me 3 days... Just 3 days." Ztao nodded in understanding, then he returned to heaven with Loey because heaven needed the god of phoenix. Xiumin could only create snow blocks with his power, Loey must melt the snow blocks with his fire power to produce water for the tree of life.

On the night of the third day, Suho hugged Eve on the bed and cried in silent. Eve who could feel Suho crying, asked confusedly, "What's wrong?" Suho quickly wiped his tears and said, "Nothing... I just... Love you so much." Eve said, "Please tell me what's wrong? You have been acting weird for the past three days. You treated me way too kind, you did all the housework alone. Why do I feel like you will go far away? I feel like I will never can see you again."

Suho tightened his hug and said with sobs, "I'm sorry... I'm really sorry." Eve released Suho's hug, she stared at Suho and said, "Sorry for what? Please tell me that you won't leave me." Suho got up from the bed and said in a trembling voice, "We can't be together anymore... If I stay with you, all people will die because of drought."

Eve got up from the bed and laughed, she said, "Why will people die because you stay with me? You are not the water god. You aren't responsible for the drought that occurs everywhere." Suho said, "I'm indeed the water god." Eve laughed. Suho stared at Eve without saying anything.

Eve stopped laughing and asked seriously, "Are you serious? You? The water god? So you are telling me that I married a water god?" Suho nodded seriously. Eve asked with teary eyes, "Do you have to go back to heaven?" Suho nodded. Eve asked with sobs, "Can I go with you to heaven?" Suho nodded. Eve asked happily, "Really??" Suho nodded. Eve said excitedly, "Then no problem! Take me with you!"

Suho hugged Eve and whispered softly in her ear, "I love you." Eve replied in half whisper, "I love you too." Tears dripped from Suho's eyes as Suho began kissing Eve softly. When Suho and Eve were kissing, Suho suddenly stabbed Eve's heart with a dagger he hid under his robe.
