Chapter 13

(Izuku pov)

I sat in my office starting a missing person report when I received a call from Todoroki.

"Hello?"

"Midoriya! I have something to tell you!" This sounded serious.

"What is it Todoroki?"

"Do you want to hear the good news first or the bad news?"

"Let's hear the good news first."

"I found Uraraka." What?!

"YOU FOUND HER?!?!?" I noticed everyone staring at me because of my outburst so I smiled and sat back down.

"What happened? How did you find her?"

"That is where the bad news comes in. She's been brainwashed it seems."

"Brainwashed? What do you mean?"

"She keeps saying she is called Void and that she was supposed to go on a date with a hero but he stood her up."

"But that's the exact opposite of what really happened," I whispered into the phone.

"She is saying the opposite of everything that has happened throughout our years at U.A. She says that You were the one who won at the sports festival and that she watched it from home. She also says that her family is super rich."

Why is she saying all that stuff? Those are completely the opposite of what really happened.

"Todoroki I am coming over to where you are now."

"Okay. I'm at the police station." I hung up the call and went towards the door.

"Deku! You haven't finished your work!" Called Takeshi one of the interns.

"Cover for me, please! I'll take you to get some egg fried rice when I come back!"

"YESSIR!"

I sprinted towards the police station. I hope I make it in time.

(Todoroki pov)

After interviewing Uraraka I decided to go question the other guy.

Aoyama was here with me. He was dressed casually so I guess he was just called here suddenly.

"Bonjour mon ami!" He called out attracting the attention of everyone in the room.

"Aoyama, please keep it down."

"Sorry! I just can't help but show off my twinkling!"

"Okay. Let's go." We headed to the questioning room where the villain was being kept. He seems pretty young. He had very pale skin and short hair in a bob. He was wearing handcuffs that stop him from using his quirk so he can't attack us.

Aoyama took the seat by the table while I decide to stand.

"So. You know why you are here right?" He kept silent and looked away.

"I'm going to ask you some questions. And you will tell the truth." He still didn't say anything but he did look at me. He has really nice eyes.

"Are you listening?" I was starting to lose my temper now. Aoyama could tell. Flames were starting to pop out of my shoulder the more annoyed I got.

Aoyama decided to take over.

"My apologies! I will be asking a few questions!~ So will you please tell me what you guys were planning in the park?~"

The boy was still silent but was now staring at Aoyama like a magpie who spotted something shiny.

"Will, you not answer me?" His face dropped a little but he was still smiling.

"I dunno." The kid answered. Finally, he spoke.

"How old are you?" I asked.

"I'm 12." He really is very young.

"I don't know anything about what the league is planning. I only joined because I was curious."

"How did you find them then?"

"I- I ran away from home." He looked kind of sad.

"And why?" Aoyama asked.

"Because of my mom. Since my dad left she has been kind of... violent."

So he is a victim of abuse? This story is all too familiar.

"I was wandering around when a guy asked me if I could do a job."

"And what was the job?"

"Watch over the new Uravity. Or rather watch over Void."

"Can you give us his details?"

"I haven't seen his face and I don't know his real name. But he is called Retention."

"Thank you for your cooperation mon ami!~ Have a lollipop for your hard work!~" Aoyama pulled a lollipop out of nowhere and threw it to the kid who no longer had the handcuffs on. His wrists slipped out.

"If you give me your Moms name we can figure out what to do for you. We'll do our best."

"My mom's name is Hana Onna. She never told me her maiden name."

"Well, what's your name?"

"My name is Onryo Onna. It was very nice to meet you."

Takeshi Hebi and Onryo Onna are my OC's. Onryo will become very important in this story. You'll see why soon. Toodles! X3
