Chapter 14

(Izuku's pov)

I rushed over to the police station where Ocako was apparently being held.

When I got there Todoroki had just exited a room with Aoyama.

"Todoroki!" He looked towards me and started walking over.

"Midoriya. I already questioned her and the kid that we managed to capture."

"Oh, I was late huh?"

"Well you could always go in and try talking to her. Maybe it could spark her memory a bit?"

"Yeah. I'll do my best." He showed me which room she was in and I walked inside.

She was sitting around a table with handcuffs on. Her head was hanging low so I couldn't see her face. Although I could see the tears that fell from her face. Why was she crying? I always hated seeing her like that. It breaks my heart. I walked to the table and pulled out the chair so I could sit down in front of her.

"Hey." I didn't know what to say. It seemed she didn't either. She didn't raise her head and didn't make a sound. We sat in silence for a little while. No other sounds were heard but her occasional sniffling. I wanted to comfort her but right now.. She is a villain.

"I am... going to ask you a few questions." She remained silent.

"So. Why were you-"

"Why are you here?" She spoke.

"W-what do you mean?"

"I know who you are. My memory is fuzzy but... I remember that I loved you."

"What are you saying? Your memory is fuzzy? What can you remember?"

"I remember... you had asked me out and then... you never showed up."

"Are you sure that is what happened?" None of this made sense.

"I am not sure what else happened. I remember U.A. You were there. We first met when I saved you from being crushed by a giant robot."

"WHAT?!" I yelled. That made no sense! Why is her memory like that?

"I think. I think I'm gonna go now." I stood up and left the room. I opened the door and took a final glance at her before leaving. What happened to Ochako? I don't like this Ochako.

The door to the other questioning opened and a young boy walked out with a lollipop in his mouth and a policeman holding his arm. He glanced at me with his black and white eyes. He was kind of scary. He looked very familiar as well. Or rather he looked similar to someone.

I let them pass first then I followed after them.

We were all heading for the exit so it didn't look too suspicious.

We walked past the waiting area where a woman was sitting. She had pale skin and black hair. But her most noticeable feature was that she had no hands.

"Onryo! What happened? Why are you here? You are grounded when we get back mister!"

The boy now known as Onryo didn't answer her. Rather he just stared down at his feet.

The woman thaned the police officer the grabbed the boy by the arm and pulled him harshly toward the exit.

It was obviously hurting the child so I rushed towards them

"Ma'am, I can tell that you are upset but you are harming him." I said as politely as I could.

"Well he deserves it. This brat is always getting into trouble. It's about time he learned." She then walked off gripping Onryos arm more tightly and pulling on it even harder than before.

What did I just witness?

"I see you met the kid." I turned to face Todoroki who was standing by the door staring at me.

"Oh Todoroki! I thought you'd left!"

"No. I decided to wait for you."

"Why? Did you need something?"

"I need you to follow the kid and his mom." Wait what?! He wants me to stalk someone?

"Why?"

"Just do it and report back to me what you see." He then turned and walked in the opposite direction.

What did I just get myself into? There are too many questions I have asked myself today. And I need answers to all of them.
