I kicked my dangling legs in the air and tried fighting the pressure of the rope closing my windpipe. My nails attacking the death trap around my throat.

I sobered up, trying to escape death. I found it hard to breath, so therefore I couldn't scream for help. I thought of my last words, something people across the world could remember me by.

"I hate you, Mr. Harriet George." and was all I said before shutting my eyes. The throat made my voice horse when I spoke and it hurt to speak.

"Eva Robin!" I heard a screaming voice, come running towards me. My eyes shot open to be met with Mr. Humphrey's blue ones. He climbed the tree house, untying the rope from above, making me fall to the ground.

"You were trying to hang yourself, Eva?" Mr. Humphrey asked, worried. I rubbed my neck in pain, too hurt to speak. "What were you doing then you stupid girl!?" He screamed at me.

"I-I don't know," small tears threatening to stream down my face. "Some boy took me up here, put this around my throat and pushed me off." I told him, hoping he'd believe me.

"Eva, this is serious." He said, wide eyed. "I think someone tried to kill you." Mr Humphrey rubbed my in a supportive manner.

"Please don't tell my mother." I bit my lip, begging him. "She already thinks I'm depressed for some deranged reason, don't let her think I'm suicidal as well."

"Fine, let's get you up to bed." He sighed.

"Mr Humphrey-"

"Tom. Call me Tom outside of school." He smiled at me.

"Why are you at my sister's party?" I asked him.

"Me and your sister went to high school together, she was quite something." Tom smiled looking into the distance. "You have her smile." He told me looking back at me.

If I hadn't just tried to be killed I would've blushed like crazy. But I had. Something tried to kill me. Harriet tried to kill me.

We slowly weaved through the half asleep, drunken dancers to my bedroom, which was how I left it. I thanked The Lord mentally for not letting anyone have sex in my room.

"Well, this is it." I shrugged, looking around my room, then back at Tom. "My bedroom."

He smiled at me, then guided me to my bed. Tom wrapped me up in my covers, kissing my left temple, I gave him a reassuring smile before letting my eyelids close.

"Everything will be fine, Eva." I heard him whisper as her left my room. It wasn't fine though was it. I had a psycho who insisted on killing me every which way he could.

When morning finally aroid from my curtains, it took me every fibre in my body to roll off my bed. The breath I took was shaking since my head felt like it had thousands of baby demons screaming in there.

I finally stood up, my legs feeling like jelly. I walked down stairs to find a few sleeping bodies here and there. I rolled my eyes, but even that hurt.

Then Quinn came prancing into the kitchen like a party hadn't happened last night and she hadn't go completely wasted, which she had.

"Awh come on," she nudged me, making me spill coffee over the side. "Lighten up." Quinn shrugged making me growl lowly.

"Quinn, don't." I warned her. I honestly wasn't in the mood.

"Woah damn. Who put a tampon in your Cheerios." She frowned.

"Haha, clever one." I smiled sarcastically. "Anyway, why didn't you tell me you went to school with Mr. Humphrey?" I asked getting out the Cheerios.

"Tom? Him and I go way back." Quinn shrugged. "Yeah, way back to me sucking his-"

"Ew Quinnie." I squealed, mocking Sophie's annoying voice.

"Hey, don't be sassy, it's too early." Quinn waved her hand in the air.

"Says the one who came skipping into the kitchen like a damn unicorn." I rolled my eyes, and waved my hand in the air like she did.

Suddenly, Mr Humphrey came strolling in, in just boxers. Quinn and Sophie drooled as I rolled my eyes at the scene.

"Morning Ladies?" Mr Humphrey- I mean Tom asked us all. I shrugged as the girls both squealed silently.

"I came down to get some Cheerios without a tampon in it." I glared at Quinn, before turning back to Tom to see him laughing.

"I-I didn't really say that-t." Quinn smiled at tom nervously.

I poured myself a bowl of cereal before grabbing a spoon. "I'm going to eat this is the tree house, it smells weird in here." I grimaced.

"Want me to join you?" Tom asked in a worried tone. I shook my head.

"No, i'm fine thanks Mr H." I smiled at him as Sophie scoffed. Tom nodded as I wondered outside, onto the treehouse.

As I sat on the edge of the treehouse, vivid flashbacks of last night flickered through my head. I cringed as his voice echoed through my head.

"Good morning princess." A cold presence sat next to me and I knew exactly who it was.

"Harriet," I said with a shaky voice. "You tried to kill me." I told him my voice becoming angry.

"I see you met Lucy, my dear." Harriet leaned in, his cold breath hitting behind my ear.

"The little girl that you killed." I snapped at him but he just shook his head.

"No sweetie, I didn't kill her." He grabbed my hair as he kept calm and dragged me along.

I screamed as I was scrapped along the wooden deck. He yanked me up and slammed me into my wooded house.

I groaned as he leaned extremely close to my face. "Listen and listen good baby, if you see her, make sure to give her these." Harriet smirked.

He then opened his mouth, making two beautiful doe eyes roll out. I closed my eyes and turned my head. I shut my eyes tighter as I heard them land in his hand.

He placed the dry eyes into my hand before I screamed at the squishy texture.

Harriet laughed at my reaction before quickly silencing me by placing his cold lips to mine.

I didn't kiss back obviously but when he realised this he just growled and disappeared.

"What the actual fuck." I mumbled to myself as I looked down at the big round eyes in my hand
