it was the day before my birthday. i didn't know you knew, ash. i was working in that cafe again. trying to earn more money.
you waited until my shift was over. my shift ended at 3. i took the morning shift. you took me shopping, ash. you told me to pick out an outfit for tomorrow. you told me to pick out heels even when when i'm 5"8. but i did anyways. i got a dress and some heels.
you told me to get home early & sleep well because tomorrow was going to be a long day. i smiled to myself, thinking about you while trying to sleep, ash.
