HELLO! It's been awhile. Really sorry for not updating this story. Sobrang busy kasi sa college and I'm about to work on my undergrad thesis.

Ayon nag-update ako today because I saw na may draft pala ako for the next chapter and sayang naman. I still want to finish this story. Just that I forgot some of the details na and I wouldn't be able to follow the original storyline that I planned when I was in high school kasi sobrang haba ang complicated. Hahaha

If ever makayanan ko na tapusin 'to, it'll be very different from how I wanted it to end. I will simplify it. A bit sad but I gotta do that right para matapos siya hahahaha. Hopefully, I'll have time kapag xmas break na. :))

Also point out if may mabasa kayong lapses on details like sa names, plot ganyan. I'll rly appreciate it!

I woke up with a bad news: Sophie is getting engaged to Theo.

Even though Kent is beside me sleeping—he was able to pick me up from my breakdown kahapon due to the restaurant issue and bring me to his place—I emailed Theo the link of this news with the subject being "WTF THEO GOOD MORNING I GUESS???"

I didn't expect an immediate response since it's still early in the morning. But I am mad, not raging mad (yet) since it's unsure but there's a probabability na totoo 'diba?

I looked at the angel sleeping beside me, last night Kent told me he'll help me na maibalik sa aking possession 'yung lupa namin kahit sinabi ko sa kanya na hopeless case niya. He told me maybe we could talk with Sophie's parents and ask them to sell the property to us or let us repay. I think that's less likely to happen considering Sophie just decided to be the evil bitch in my life.

I also think all these things happening at once, the message yesterday, that engagement news, the only possession I have that reminded me of my parents being stripped away from me, they're all someone's doing—Sophie Faustino.

"Good morning, babe." Kent greeted me with his bright smile. "How's your sleep?"

"I slept well," I gave hin a quick kiss on the lips. "Thanks to you."

He literally lifted me out of my place last night and brought me here. Tapos binubulungan niya lang ako ng nga comforting words habang hinahaplos likod at buhok ko. With his actions, hindi maikakaila na I matter so much to him which makes me immensely guilty sa ginagawa ko ngayon sa kanya na hindi niya deserve at all.

We get out of bed and prepared our breakfast. Kent insisted that I should talk with Sophie's parents but I just said that that would be a waste of effort. I have other pressing issues to attend to.

Habang kumakain kami ay nagsalita si Kent. "So, date later?" He asked pala kahapon to have this date with him and unwind.

"Yes," I said. "Date later."

"Okay, pick you up at 6?"

"Sure." I answered with a smile.

At work, I received this company memo about a party that is going to happen to celebrate a good investment deal, to which company? I don't know it wasn't mentioned in the memo. Anyway, that's the least of my concern. Ang dami ko pang dapat trabauhin bilang bigla na lang akong umalis kahapon. Ayoko na madagdagan pa kairesponsablehan ko sa buhay. This is just not me.

Next to that memo is Theo's reply.
