Okay, I know I said this would have been up "tomorrow", but I had a truckload of school work to do. And other stuff. SO! Without further ado: Here's the chapter!

Your POV:

I was walking home, unsure of what to say to my mom when she asks me why I was out so late, let alone soaking wet. Yes, it was only 5, but I was supposed to be home by 4:30. And the least I can do is blame me being wet on Shoya for wanting us all to jump off the bridge again.

'The baka. He's going to get himself in a lot of trouble one day...Does he even know that jumping off the bridge could get you suspended?!'   While I was busy shaming Shoya for his stupidity, I didn't realize how fast I had gotten home until I was at the door.....an unlocked one, at that.

I stood in the doorway petrified. I couldn't bring myself to call the police if there was a break in. But I knew I couldn't just stand there and do nothing. "M-Mom? Are you in there? It's j-just me!" I shouted. I was even more scared when there wasn't a reply. Slowly, I put one leg in the house, followed by my other leg, until eventually I was walking around the house with a kitchen knife I had grabbed from the counter. "Mom!" No reply. I turned around the corner to the living room,  thinking that whoever was in there would probably try and steal a TV or something.

But what I saw shocked me. More than if I had seen an actual robber. There were empty cans and bottles, and the whole room smelt of rum and other alcohol. But laying right in the middle was my mom: Sluring random words that I couldn't make out, and a bottle in her hand. It didn't take an Albert Einstein to know that she was drunk, but it might have taken one to find out WHY she was drunk. The whole reason my parents split up was because my mom had a drinking problem. She stopped after time, and swore that she wouldn't get drunk again. So why was she here? With all of those empty bottles?

"What the.....Mom? What are you doing?"

*crash*

"Mom?!"

*slam*

"Mom, please! Listen to me-"

*slap* "Shut up you little shit! Your not my kid!"

And that was it. My drunk mother, saying I wasn't hers. And me. Bloody from the tiny glass shards that the bottle had transformed into after being thrown right by my head, shocked that she had just slapped me.

I didn't stick around to hear any more. I didn't stop to grab my backpack. I just ran out of the house, trying to get as far away as I could from that house and my mom.  I didn't stop until I reached my dad's house. When I unlocked the door looking the way I did, he was furious with my mom. I remember my stepmother cleaning me up and putting me to bed, but that was it. I passed out, to tired to hear my dad shouting in the phone, and much to tired to care. All I wanted was to sleep and escape to the wonderful world of dreams, where you can forget about problems, even if it is just a little while.

Shoya's POV:

"Class, today I have some bad news. Something has come up. (y/n) will not be coming to class for the next few weeks. Mr. (l/n) has asked me to share no more. I'm sure everything is alright, but when she comes back I want you all to be nice."

'The heck? What's going on? She looked fine to me yesterday. I bet she just made up some sorry excuse and her old man bought it.'  I thought. I mean come on. She cant be sick, she was healthy yesterday! And she couldn't have broken anything. The professor would tell us if she's in the hospital!

"Katsuki, Keisuke!I bet (y/n) is just faking something so she doesn't have to take the test tomorrow." I said.

"Right? She's lucky to have parents who listen to her excuses." -Ka

"No kidding! Even if I broke a leg, mine would find a way to send me to this hell." -Ke

"Boys, is there something you want to say?" The professor asked. I gulped and shook my head. "No sir! We weren't saying anything!"

"Good. Moving on, today we will be covering..."

I zoned out for the rest of class. The only thing I could think about was how (y/n) got to not go to school. Maybe it was something serious, but even if it was, she would be back to her annoying ways, teasing me in front of the whole class or pushing Katsuki into the stream.

'I smirked, getting a plan ready on how I would get (y/n) to tell us how she did it.

'I'm going to find out your excuse no matter what, (y/n)! You won't get away with this that easy....I promise.'

I know this took a while to upload, but I hope you all liked the 5th chapter!
