Nico turned around to see Will standing there with the guitar in his hands. And he started singing. Of course he did.
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine,
You make me happy when skies are gray,
You'll never know dear, how much I love you,
Please don't take my sunshine away."
Nico just sat there, staring at the boy in front of him. The song was beautiful, Will's singing was beautiful but... Nico was confused. The black-haired boy waited for another verse but instead Will said his name.
And only his name. 'Nico di Angelo.'
'You truly are my sunshine. My life changed from the day I met you. Why? Because I fell for you, Nico. I fell for you hard.' Will said as Nico's breathing quickened and those cursed skeletal butterflies came back.
Nico wasn't able to comprehend what was happening, was he hearing things right or was this just a dream of his?
Will took a breath and continued, 'I fell in love with the way your voice softens when you talk about the people you love. I fell in love with the way your face lights up when you talk about the things you care for. I fell in love with your smile, your laugh.'
'I fell in love with everything about you, Nico. And I fall for you more everyday.'
Nico gulped, not sure what to say or do.
Slowly, he got up from his bed, the dark walls of the Hades Cabin making Will the only thing colorful in it.
The Italian slowly walked over to where Will was standing and did something in a complete surge of confidence. And something he never expected himself to do.
