I was drowning for a long time
Thank you for being my North Star
Leading me through a hard time
Thank you for all the late night calls
Thank you for being there for me
You helped me up and pulled me out,
Of the dark sea where I was lost
Thank you for being you
And telling me it's ok to be me
Thank you for the friendship we built
It really means a lot
Thank you for all the things you do
You managed to help without giving it a thought
Thank you for being my compass
You led me back on track
I fell off the path awhile ago
And you are the reason why I'm back
You are the sun, you are the moon
You are the brightest star in the sky
You shine and light up the night
Thank you for saving my life
