Be careful who you invite in

I storm into the house. "What the hell is wrong with me" I scream, throwing a glass cup at the fire place. "What's going on" I hear Stephan say from behind me. I turn around to see Stephan crossing his arms with one eyebrow raised. "Nothing, it's just I'm starting to be my old self again, but in all the wrong ways" I sigh. "Why, what did you do." Stephan says taking a step towards me. I just smile and shake my head. "I think someone's outside for you."  Almost exactly a second later there's a knock at the door. "I'll be in my room." I say before turning and zooming upstairs. Once I reach my room I open my window and see Enzo pulling into the driveway. I quickly move to the hall to see if he says anything to Stephan, who's talking to Elena, when he walks in. Then I hear the door open. "Hey what happened" I hear Stephan say to Enzo. "Your sister has gone bonkers" Enzo spits. "Would it help if maybe I talked to her." I hear Elena say. My heart melts at that,I really want to be Elenas friend. "Not if you want to walk away without a broken neck." I hear Enzo say before he heads towards the stairs. I speed to our room. Enzo basically told Stephan what I did. Fuck! "I'm done" I think laying back onto my bed. Enzo cracks the door open and peaks his head in. "Is it safe to come in or are you gonna break my neck too" Enzo says smirking. "Thanks for outing me to Stephan, he's gonna try to talk to me now." I say looking up at the ceiling. Enzo walks over the our bed and sits on the edge of his side and sighs. I mock his sigh and sit up, and scoot over to him and wrap my arms around him, Resting my head on his back. He grabs one of my hands and kisses it. "I'm sorry about killing your eye candy bartender." I say half joking half serious. He turns his head towards me, "you really think I had any interest in that girl." I shrug and fall back onto the bed. Enzo crawls on top of me "you. Are. Crazy." He say kissing me between each word. I laugh and look up into his eyes. I won't do it again, pinkie promise." I say smiling and holding up my pinkie. "I wouldn't believe you even if you meant it." Enzo says smiling, before kissing me. The kiss quickly heats up. I rip off Enzos shirt and he is now on top of me. Right before Enzo was about to take my shirt off Stephan Barges through the door. "This isn't a good time Stephan" I say annoyed. "You gonna tell me how that bartender lost her head tonight." Stephan says giving me a death glare. This is gonna be a long night, I think to myself.

Stephan and I argued for almost an hour over one persons death. After everyone I've seen him drain the life out of, he has zero room to judge me. At this point I'm not even listening to the words he's saying. Something about how me coming back to mystic falls was a bad idea and something about me changing. I roll my eyes. "Yah you're rolling your eyes now... but I've already had to cover for you countless times after you stupidly spit out ur age, oh and by the way, you start school on Monday." Stephan says before walking away. "What do you mean "I'm going to school"" I say confused. "Yep, Monday" Stephan says before walking upstairs. I turn to Enzo, who is now walking over to me smirking. "Well you've Got yourself into a little pickle haven't you" he says smiling wrapping his arms around me. I frown and look up at him. "I want you to come to school with me." I say wrapping my arms around him tightly. "I can't love, I'm too old" he says looking down at me Apologetically.  "But I'm older than you" I say pouting. "You don't look it" he says tucking my hair behind my ear. I sigh "I guess we should go to bed" I say before walking upstairs.

My alarm goes off Monday morning. I turn over and hit the button to turn it off. I turn back over and see Enzo still laying in bed, I scoot over and cuddle up next to him. He smiles and wraps his arms around me. "Ready for your first day." Enzo says giggling in a deep sleepy voice. I shove my face into his neck "I'm not going." "Oh yes you are" I hear Stephan say from our door. I look over at him to see that he's all dressed. I sigh. "Get up and get dressed we're leaving in 10" he says before walking away. "This is going to be a long day" I say frowning.

Stephan and I get out of his car. "You better not ditch me" I say to Stephan, giving his a stare. "You can't expect me to hangout with you all day" he says shoving me jokingly. "Oh yes I can" I say raising my eyebrows. "Stephan hey!" I hear Elena say before running up to us. "Hey anna" Elena says smiling "how are you and Enzo" she asks giving me a Sincere look. "We're fine?" I say confused. "Oh she was there when Enzo came in all pissy after the festival" Stephan says looking at me. "Oh" I say rolling my eyes. "Well have a good first day sissy" Stephan says before walking off with Elena. Whata dick. I walk into the school alone. I look down at my schedule, with no idea where any of these places are. "Hey Anna" I hear a familiar voice say. I look up to see Caroline. "Oh hey" I say smiling. "You should really join the cheer squad, you have a rockin body" Caroline says looking me up and down. "Thanks but it's not really my thing" I say. "Just think about it" she says before walking off.
The rest of the school day was pretty boring. I was super excited when I heard that last bell of the day. That's when my phone began to ring, it's Stephan. I answer it "hello?" I say confused. "Hey I'm gonna be staying after, Elena wants me to try out for the football team, catch up with you later?" He says cheerfully. "Ugh, you're lucky I got a ride home with Enzo, you dick" I say annoyed. "Love you too, talk to you later" he says before hanging up. I roll my eyes and walk over to the parking lot, where I see Enzo leaning up against his car. I sprint over to him and hug him tightly. He smiles and hugs me back. "How was school" he says looking down at me. "Don't wanna talk about it." I say rolling my eyes and laughing a little. Enzo opens my door and I get in.

Enzo and I are laying in bed when I get a phone call. "It's Stephan" I say answering it. "I need you to get to elenas right now, Damon's here and he's been invited in" Stephan says freaking out. "Calm down we'll be there in a second. Enzo looks at me concerned. "What does he think Damon is gonna do" Enzo says confused. "I'm not sure but he promised Stephan a lifetime of Misery so can't be anything good." I say before we both speed to Enzos car.
The drive was fairly quick. We get out of the car and knock on elenas door. Caroline answers, "hey guys, what brings you over here." She says smiling. I can't help but notice the scarf on he neck. That's when I smell the blood. "Is Damon here?" I ask. "Yah I'll go get him" she says before walking away. I turn to Enzo, "he's been feeding on her" I say to Enzo, slightly concerned. "I'm still confused why were inserting ourselves into this drama, you and I both know you could care less about human lives."  He says giving me a confused look. He's right. I don't care about human lives, at least not for the most part. "I'm not sure why I care to be honest" I say looking up at him. He bites his lower lip and nods his head, before turning back to the door. "Hey" Elena says, smiling. "You guys can come in, I know you're waiting for Damon" she says still smiling. "Big mistake" enzo says under his breath smirking. I laugh and step over the Threshold.
