A change for the worst

Enzo and I walk into Elenas home. "Let's go find Damon" I say beginning the walk away. Enzo grabs my arm and pulls me back. "Why are you helping Stephan out, I'm genuinely curious. He's been nothing but a dick to you, Damon too. You don't deserve that." Enzo says looking into my eyes. I think about that for a second. Stephan and I used to be best friends when we were little. We aren't blood but I still think of him as a brother. But Enzo is right. I'm sick of being judged by him for every move I make. He wouldn't do any of this for me. "You're right baby" I say smirking. "But we've already been invited in... might as well have some fun" I say before walking into the living room. "I didnt know you guys were invited in" Stephan says with worry in his voice. "You think I'm gonna hurt her." I say, my feelings a little hurt. Stephan shrugs "you have no self control Anna" he says looking down at me sorry. "Well in that case..." I say turning around "I might as well have some fun." I finish saying, walking over to Damon. "Well looks like you've gone chased away your only Ally mate." Enzo says to Stephan giggling. "Hey guys" I say sitting down next to Damon. "Come to ruin my fun sister" Damon says rolling his eyes at me. "No, I've come to join it" I say smirking. "Oh how I missed you" Damon says smiling at me. Damon and I used to do terrible things together all the time. Then I Mysteriously disappeared and no one knew why. I tried to change for the better, but I guess no one wants me to. This is gonna be fun. My thoughts are interrupted my Enzo joining the party. "Hello ladies" Enzo says leaning on the door frame. "I better go get to work on those dishes" Elena says getting up. "I'll help" Damon says following her. "Where's Stephan" Bonnie asks confused. I look at Enzo. "He's probably off somewhere pouting" Enzo says picking up a glass of water and taking a sip. Bonnie squints her eyes slightly and nods. I can tell she feels a little off about all of us. That's when Stephan walks in and sits down. "Look who decided to join the party" Enzo says smiling widely. I scoot closer to him and he wraps his arm around me. Stephan gives us a slightly dirty look then sparks a conversation with Caroline. That's when he asks about her scarf. "Can I see it" Stephan asks. I giggle a little. "I can't, I'm sorry" she replies. "Why not, are you okay." Stephan asks, concerned. "All I know is that I can't take it off." She says touching her scarf. "What are you crazy kids talking about" Damon says, walking into the room. I look over at Damon, then turn to Enzo. "This is getting good" I giggle into Enzos ear, making him laugh. "Oh I was just commenting on her scarf" Stephan says to Damon, clearly knowing the reason she is wearing the scarf. Damon turns to Caroline, "why don't you go help Bonnie and Elena with the dishes" Damon suggests. "I don't think so" she says smirking. Damon then looks her in the eyes, "go help Bonnie and Elena with the dishes" Damon compels Caroline. That very second she pops up out of her chair, "I'm going to go help Damon and Elena with the dishes!" She says excited before skipping off to go help them. "She's a human Damon! She's not a puppet for you to feed off of whenever you feel like" stephan says Visibly upset. "Aren't they though" I say standing up walking over to Damon, putting my hand on his shoulder. "What happens to you Anna, you were changing for the better" Stephan says standing up. This fills me with rage. "You happened Stephan. You never believed I was better. You think I'm a monster? Well here she is, the monster." I say Angerly. "Please anna, you know it was never my intention to hurt your feelings." Stephan says, clearly sorry. "Well it's too late, cause you did." I say walking back Over to Enzo and sitting down. I feel my eyes begin to tear up and I quickly shut them. I'm not in the mood for these clowns' pitty. "You guys need to go" Stephan says getting annoyed. "That's not a problem brother, cause I've been invited in. So I can come and go as I please." Damon says smiling. "Therefore I can do with your little cheerleader, whatever I want" Damon continues, smiling. "Enzo and I better get home. Don't wanna miss your first game tomorrow." I say smiling. Enzo stands, helping me to my feet. "Why don't you go start the car love" Enzo says to me smiling and giving me a small kiss. I walk away and stop at the door. I tuck the hair covering my ear and listen to their conversation.  "You ever talk to my girl the way you did the other night, I'll rip your damn throat out." I hear Enzo snarl at Stephan. I smile and walk to the car.
