Chapter seven | mother-in-law

"Take him to your room and treat his bruises!" Mrs. Wang exclaimed to her son, wang yibo who was holding his cheeks where his own mother slapped him in front of xiao zhan.

"I didn't raise you to hurt my zhanzhan..." Mrs. Wang said as her voice softened when he said xiao zhan's name, turning her body to xiao zhan before caressing xiao zhan's cheeks.

"My son have a good taste." She said, slowly caressing xiao zhan's cheeks.

Xiao zhan was shocked how wang Yibo's own mother treated him right now but he just gave her a smile, showing his bunny teeth that made the woman awed at him.

"Are you okay, zhan? Is your wrist hurts?" Mrs. Wang asked and cooed at xiao zhan.

Xiao zhan leaned in to her touch and nodded his head.

Wang yibo snorted at scene and grabbed xiao zhan's wrist, dragging him to his room without saying a word.

"Wang yibo, be gentle to zhanzhan!" His mother shouted, wang yibo sighed and fastened his steps while dragging xiao zhan to his room.

As they reaches on wang Yibo's room, they immediately entered as wang yibo throws him to his king size bed before getting a first-aid kit.

Xiao zhan sat on his bed, wondering his eyes to wang Yibo's room. It was big, bigger than his apartment and simple but aesthetic.

Wang yibo sat beside xiao zhan, grabbing his wrist again and pulling up his sleeve.

Wang yibo put a alcohol on his bruise before putting a ointment while xiao zhan watching him carefully.

Xiao zhan travelled his stares to wang Yibo's face, "are you okay?" He asked sofly with worried voice.

Wang yibo hummed at him in response before putting back the ointment and alcohol inside of the kit.

Xiao zhan was also worried to wang yibo after his own mother slapped him just because he put a bruise on his wrist.

Wang yibo left him alone again and come back with a spare of clothes, throwing to xiao zhan.

"Change." Wang yibo said before disappearing again.

Xiao zhan didn't say anything and change his suit to the new clothes that wang yibo gave him.

Wang yibo came back again to his room, he also change his clothes and walks to xiao zhan.

He grabbed xiao zhan's arms and forcefully make him stand up.

Xiao zhan hissed at him. "Can you stop grabbing my arms or wrist?!"

Wang yibo let him go but he hold xiao zhan's hands and dragged him again downstairs.

They went to the dinning area as xiao zhan jaw dropped.

Their dinner has more bigger space than his living room with his bedroom on his apartment and he starts to wonder how huge the mansion is.

Wang yibo guided him to the empty chair and made him sat as wang yibo also sat beside him.

Xiao zhan mouth begins to watered when he saw the dishes served in front of him but he gulped his own saliva down. He should act like a saint in front of wang Yibo's family or it would be embarrassing if he let his idiot side takes him over.

"Zhan, did yibo treated your bruise properly?" Mrs. Wang said in a soft tone like she saw talking to a one year old baby.

Xiao Zhan showed her signature smile, his eyes turned into cresent as his bunny teeth showed up again.

"Yes, Mrs. Wang." He answered.

Mrs. Wang chuckled at him, "Call me mom." She said.

Xiao zhan suddenly choke on his own saliva as the wangs stared at him worriedly.

"Of course, M-m-mom..." xiao Zhan said awkwardly, wang yibo glanced at xiao Zhan and secretly giggled at him.

They started eating silently, only the spoon, fork or table knife that was making sound with the plate can be heard around the dinning table.

The Wang's maids leave them alone to gave them a privacy after serving all the dishes in the table.

Mrs. Wang wiped her mouth with a table napkin and looks at wang yibo and xiao zhan who slowly munching his food even deep inside he wanted to devours it.

A smile creep up on her lips. "I already expecting a grandchild, right honey?" She said and faced her husband.

Wang yibo choked on his food as xiao zhan food that he was Munching before gulping down was suddenly stop on his throat.

Haikuan sighed and continue to eat, ignoring everyone on the dinning table.

Wang yibo reaches a glass of water before gulpling down. "You what?!"

Xiao zhan came back on his senses when he heard wang Yibo's voice.

Mrs. Wang smiled again. "I'm getting old with your father, yibo but we still don't have a grandchildren running in the mansion."

Xiao zhan Forcefully gulped down the food that stuck up on his throat as he shyly reaches his own glass and drinks a water.

"I hope you and Zhanzhan will give us a grandchildren as soon as possible before our times comes." Mrs. Wang giggled, wriggling her eyebrows on xiao zhan and wang yibo.

Xiao Zhan immediately choked at the water again.

Wang Yibo's mother will be the cause of his death if she keep talking weird things.
