It's been a week with having no cell mate, Trey is still in the shoe. The week I've just been keeping to myself, chilling in my bed most days. There hasn't been a night that I haven't had a nightmare, if I sleep in the day times I have flashbacks of my childhood, so I try to stay awake through out the day. I'm up early today, I'm just waiting on the cell gates to open to allow the top floor to go and have breakfast. Watching the clock slowly tick around, just waiting for it to turn to '8'. Five more minutes, I glanced away from the clock down to the canteen to see two officers uncuffing someone. New inmate? When he turned around I noticed it was Trey. He back? I hope we gonna be cool, I haver spoke to someone in a whole week it be good to at least have one conversation.
They allowed Trey to go and have his breakfast, while I carried on waiting for the clock to turn. The clocked ticked over to '8' which made a smile form on my lips. I'm hungry this morning. The gates opened and I rushed down the stairs to get in the front of the line, happy once I realised I made it to be the first. Doing the same as usually I took the plate full of food then the water. I turned around to see a bunch of tables, one table had Trey sitting on it. I thought about it, then made my way over to the table.
"Trey." I gently said as I took a seat opposite him.
"Chris." He replied back with no hint of emotion in his voice.
"You good?" I asked concerned.
"I ain't gonna lie, I feel like shit. That place has officially drained me." He spoke, looking at his face he looks so hopeless, he colour on his face has faded slightly it's like he lost himself in there.
"I'm sorry about everything." I don't really know what I'm saying sorry about, but I've bad enough of all the drama.
"You got nothing to be sorry for. It all good." He placed his hand out, I accepted his hand shake while I gave him a sympathy smile. "What happened about August?"
The smile faded from my face, as I realised how pissed his going to be when I tell him he got sent to the Ghetto while Trey got shoved in the shoe.
"Uh, he got sent to the ghetto." I whispered the last bit, quickly taking a bit of food into my mouth after.
I looked at his face to see his reaction, he just rolled his eyes as he puffed, his expression seemed like he could already guess that August got favourited. I felt bad for him, I know I'd be pissed off.
"Yo homie, you back!" Tyga smiled as he took Trey into a man hug after he placed his food onto the table. Trey let out a slight smile, Tyga then turned to face me. He took a seat next to Trey then mumbled something to Trey.
"It's in the past, I can't be fucked with anymore bullshit." Trey said bluntly.
"Group again." Tyga cheered. "Sorry for the shit, but you know I always gotta stick by my homie."
"It cool." I said forcing a smile out.

"M-momma." I heard a male voice cry. I sat up in my bunk, forcing my tired eyes open. It was pitch black in this place the only light was the light from the touches what the officers are carrying around. "I love you momma, stay with me."
I heard the voice was coming from under me, I jumped off my bunk to see Chris laying there with sweat dripping down his face, he was mumbling some stuff. After a few seconds he stopped, I was just about to climb back up onto my bed, until the bunk started to rock. I looked at Chris and saw him shaking, his body was jumping a bit. More sweat started to form down his face, his breathing started to get more heavier as his body shook faster. I didn't really know what to do. Should I wake him up or what? He scaring the shit out of me, is he having a nightmare?
"Chris, wake up buddy." I whispered... He carried on shaking so I placed my hand on his chest to try and stop him bouncing up. After my hand came in contact with his, his eyes shot open. He rapidly got up taking in deep breaths. I just stood there in shock looking at him. He grabbed his towel, whipping the sweat off from his face. He took one last big breath before he talked to me.
"You ok?" He asked. What da fuck? Am I alright he was the one just having a massive panic attack in his sleep.
"Are you ok?" I asked in a worried tone.
"Y-Yeah." He walked over to his bed taking the sweaty bed sheet off. He chucked it onto the floor then got back into the bed, closing his eyes again.
"Ok then." I said totally confused on what just happened.
