Loving two men at the same time is difficult, Mitch thought to himself while he stared at his ceiling fan spinning just fast enough to blow a cool, gentle breeze down onto his face. The two men he loves are; Travis, his boyfriend, and Scott, his best friend.

Mitch sat up and looked at the time, 11:20 pm. "It's not tomorrow yet?" he yelled with irritated surprise. A few minutes later he heard knocks on his bedroom door, followed by the soothing sound of Scott's voice. "Mitch?" he called from outside. I must have woken him, Mitch thought. Scott knocked again, this time a bit louder.

"Come in," Mitch called to Scott. The blue-eyed blonde stepped in. "Did I wake you?" Mitch asked, offering a spot for Scott to sit. Scott took a seat and answered, "No. I've been up for a while. Is something wrong?" Scott fought the urge to lean in and kiss the kind man in front of him for Scott was madly in love with him. Mitch was fought the same urge. For a moment, Mitch just stared, in a trance, just being happy that Scott was worried about him.

Mitch snapped back into reality by the sound of Scott's fingers snapping right in front of his face. He thought of a quick lie, "I hit my head." He rubbed the very top of his head trying to Make it convincing.

"On what?" Scott asked and raised an eyebrow.

"I... I don't know. It was so dark I couldn't see."

"Your light was on." Scott chuckled as he gestured to the lit up room. "What's wrong?" Scott asked again firmly, changing his expression from glad to worried.

Mitch could not bear to see Scott this worried. "I just wish tomorrow was here." He confessed.

"Why?" Scott said, still worried.

Mitch had to keep his secret. He loved Scott for almost nine months and wasn't about to share this information. "Nothing's wrong. I'm just tired." Mitch lied again.

"Okay." Scott said, easing his expression. "See you in the morning." he called and exited the room.
