regal academy: A Curious Mysterious Adventure

My entry to the contest, I told you about...

So, I typed the story and send it through my Gmail as instructed, live while I was on zoom. So, the host gave other participants and me a start of a story and we had to continue it... so, I thought why not share my entry, I mailed. 

So, it was kinda like this, a policeman is returning from work at midnight and is exhausted, while he is on his way home, he saw a shadowy figure leaning on something, he thought it could be an animal sleeping on the street or a person leaning to the view something, But like it was given the policeman had a tingling feeling that something was not right and he shouldn't dash behind any shadowy figure this late night. But you know what readers! he stopped his turned off the engine and went to check it. 

Now, here I come... I had to continue this story, please tell me how it is, I know it won't be that good due to time limit, I just wrote it in like ten minutes, we had to write ninety words at least. 

I had already moved out of the car, before I realized it. I knew I shouldn't dash to that shadowy figure, but my curiosity took all of me. I took quite steps to the shadowy figure, I was now almost ten meters away from that figure. Many questions were zooming in my mind like, "What is that thing?'" "Is it an animal?" I silently moved closer to the shadowy figure without making any sound, today was a full moon night so, due to moonlight, I could get a better view of the figure. I lived in a town near the outskirts of a forest, there were never any cases of crime in my town, so I was quite curious. When I got a closer view, I saw a bulky body of a human? maybe... It had quite big nails, and scarily big canines and scarlet blood was dripping from its mouth, I couldn't make out the figure, it was leaning on, but I knew that thing was dangerous, but still due to the lack of energy, I moved towards the figure. I was surprised at my braveness, but when I got close enough, I hit a can of soda on the street and the creature moved towards me-

There are a few grammar mistakes though, I hope, I get to do the second level exam...
