Vicky dashed behind the bush without making any noise. Jessica's cheeks had dried up and her eyes seemed to be a void full of regret. Rose came to find Jessica when she saw Rise rushing towards Jessica, Rose gave a firm nod and started watching Rise interact with Jessica.
Rise came panting and asked Jessica to listen to her.
Rise: "Jessica, I know this is heartbreaking, but..."
He flashed her a heartwarming smile. Jessica moved her head to see Rise, and Rise hugged her gently, Jessica was surprised at first but she gladly returned the hug.
Rise: "But, you will always be one of my most loved and trusted friends and I would gladly like to see my old Jessica."
Jessica merely nodded and immersed in the hug and mumbled, I haven't given up yet! and I am not going to give up soon. Rise asked what she was mumbling and Jessica just shook her head and said nothing, and Rose smiled proudly at how her big brother had handled the situation.

In the Broomstick castle...
Cyrus: "So, you have got one of the ingredients that you wanted (yawns), so now..."
Vicky: "Blue moon comes after Sparkle Fies- whatever... So, now we have to go to our next target to get our last ingredient..."
She took a photo of a person and the person's face shown in the dusk's light.
Vicky: "Hawk Snowhite..."
Vicky laughed maniacally and after a few minutes she coughed, so Cyrus gave her a glass of water, she gulps it down.
Vicky: "Thanks, Cyrus"
Cyrus: "sorry, Vicky that was swamp's water, I was so sleepy I mistook it for water... (yawns)"
Vicky's face turned green and pale and she rushed to the washroom.

So, I know, I didn't update yesterday, my apologies... Actually due to quarantine, teachers are giving us bulks of assignments and I am participating in Scholastic's Quill write now, writing and publishing contest. So, tomorrow is the level I's exam... so I was preparing for that, but I hope you liked today's chapter! (I love Scholastic's books!)
