Preformance

Toms POV

So today is that day. We re going to have to preform our song. Well easy for me and keeks because we've wrote three and have chosen to play fireworks, our song.

"Right so next is Tom and Kira. If you would like to set up." Mrs said

I pulled out the piano and levelled my mic and Kira got her guitar and her mic ready.

"Tom we going 6th or 5th for capo?"

"Calm down. Don't panic. Go 5th." I said and she nodded taking a breath.

"So this is firework." she said nodding at me causing me to smile.

We both played and both sang and that was the first time she preformed in front of anyone other than me an Danny.

"Wow well done." Mrs said "Kira you have such a powerful voice! And Tom, well done too."

Everyone was clapping and Kira was feeling better although still worrying.

"Well done both off you now last but not least Abbie and Matt. Your turn. Now just a tip for you Abbie remember what I said at the start. Everyone must sing and solo. So don't just do back in vocals okay?"

Abbie nodded a her and Matt stood up.

I looked over at Kira who was sat on the other side of the classroom. She had he head in her hands and was looked stressed. She looked up and over at me.

"Well done." I mouthed smiling

She smiled but was still unsure.

"Right this is Stronger." matt said as he stood there holding his bass as Abbie had her electric guitar."

They preformed and honesty everyone was stunned. Nobody had heard Abbie sing lead before. She only ever sung back in at the most but her voice was beautiful.

Everyone clapped and something actually happened which I though would never happen. EVER!
MATT AND ABBIE HUGGED! They actually hugged.

"Abbie Goodwin. Where on earth have you been hiding that voice of yours?"

Abbie and Matt laughed as they put their guitars down and we were all shocked.

"Right so I've now I will be grading your work so I want you to come and find me and I will give them to you." she said as the bell went.

"Well done Kira you were amazing." I said as we walked out.

"Thanks. But Abbie's voice! And she even hugged matt!"

"So I wasn't dreaming then?"

"Matt, Abbie stay behind please." we heard.

"Come on we will go to PE and they will follow." she said and we walked off.

I couldn't get over how these few weeks have changed so quickly. Especially for Abbie and Matt.

Abbie's POV

"Matt, Abbie stay behind please."

We both walked back in and sat on the table infront off Mrs.

"I'd like to congratulate you on that performance. You both did amazingly well and that has shown in your result. You wrote and incredible song which had great lyrics and the music behind it was over all good. You could do with a little drum behind it. However that doesn't matter. Which is why I have awarded you an A*." she said and we both looked at each other smiling.
We both got our first ever A*.

"Thank you!" I spat out

"You both did it yourself. Now you young lady. You have such an amazing voice and you need to show it more often. Your a talented musician. You both are. But you both need your confidence. Which was why I put you two together."

"Why?" Matt asked

"Because 3 weeks ago you two would argue constantly. You both would shy away from sing yourself and to be yourself you needed each other. I knew that by putting you two together you would both preform to your full potential." she said and we both nodded. "Right where are you now."

"PE." we both said

"Right well go on. I'll email Mr Owens for you both."

"Thanks again." Matt said as we left to walk towards pe.

We got into the side stairs and both stopped, and faced each other.

"A STAR!" we both screamed and he hugged me again and picked me up and spun me around as we celebrated.
He put me down and we laughed as we ran towards PE.

Nothing was going to put me in a bad mood.
