Matts POV
Today is our last day together. Not just me and abbie, but the whole group. We are all going out separate ways. Although I'm sticking with james and we're going to live together, I won't see abbie. I don't want to split with her but we don't know if we will see each other again.
After all I'm going to South end with james and she's going to Leigh with annie and her dad.
We all gathered in the assembly hall and Mr hunt stood up at the front.
"Good afternoon year 11. So today you will be leaving us. It's going to be a time where many friendships fall apart as you are set free into the open world. Have fun, stay safe. But work hard. It's going to be tough out there but you're all a bright bunch and that has been proven with your exam results. So ... let's focus on some of positive experiences of what's happened and been achieved by you lot sat there." he smiled as a hug PowerPoint came on with different pictures and quotes said by teachers and some of us.
It was really said and ... I didn't want to leave.
We got our bags and stood saying our last byes to our friends before leaving. I got one last kiss off abbie as we left.
