Throwing it back a bit to Starcourt Mall.
Will's P.O.V.----
Sometimes I feel like I don't belong, like I'm just an extra in this movie of a world. But hey, I was knows as 'Zombie Boy' at school so I shouldn't wonder why my two best friends are walking three metres ahead of me and speed up when I get close.
I don't get too hung up on how they treat me, it's the best I can get and they're still my best friends.
My feet drag slowly along the tiled floor of Starcourt Mall, the rubber of my runners squeking on impact but the sound being drowned out by the loud chatter of random teenagers of all kinds.
I fumble with the money in my shorts pocket by twirling it around my fingers and folding it but being careful enough as to not rip it or drench it with sweat. My head stays low, my bowl cut obscuring my vision and not letting me see in front of me. Which is a disaster waiting to happen, as proven.
I walk into something firm, I stumble backward before looking slightly up. A pair of shoes in the middle of the tiled flooring. I gulp back the lump in my throat as tears begin to prick at my eyes. I've probably just bumped into some huge, buff guy who wants to now knock me out in one single punch.
I slowly and reluctantly raise my head, my eyes raising first as if I was in some kind of dramatic horror movie. But all I see is Mike and Lucas? What-
Both the boys are standing with mouths agape, concentrating with heart eyes in the same direction. I jog over to them, then quickly follow their gaze to where they're vision landed.
Red LED lights wash out any pale colours as it mingles with black and dark objects and items of clothing. Half naked mannequins line each and ever possible surface in the store, clad by only extremely revealing bras and underwear. Leather, studs, and cotton as far as the eye can see. I swallow down yet another lump in my throat.
My eyes are fixated on the hundreds of uncomfortable looking peices of lingerie and underwear. And, as much as it is interesting and different to see in the store and on mannequins, I don't yet think I'm ready to see this on a real female. I wouldn't know how to act, it probably just be flustered and maybe even disgusted and get out of there without a word. Actually, no. If say sorry, and then get out of there. I will admit, there are some nice thi-
"See something you like?" I low, raspy voice startles me. The hot breath on my neck sending shivers down my spine and coating my skin in goosebumps. I feel the heat rise to my cheeks as I spin around to see Y/N standing there with a mischievous smirk on her face. Tha tg lump that keeps coming up my throat is swallowed back for the third time in the past five minutes. I stand awkwardly, standing and staring intently at the girl before me.
"Ye- n-no. No. Maybe." I stutter out, sighing in defeat as the images of the skimpy clothing, if you could even call it that, on the mannequins and some specific peices being modeled by Y/N. Stunning, but gross. I shake my head to delete the thoughts, hopefully for good.
