New mentor

"Hello Goku. I see you're awake now."

Goku, who heard the deep voice, got into a fighting stance, looking around to find out who spoke to him in the field of darkness.

"Who are you?! Show yourself!" Goku said attempting to be threatening, but him wiping the tears off his face ruined the effect.

The area suddenly turned grey, and in the corner of the area, there was a bright flash of light, accompanied subtly with blue, purple, and grey. Goku looked in awe as the light took on a new form, a person. As it formed, the body formed its definite features, with a muscular body and spiky like hair. Oddly enough, it looked like Goku himself!

Soon, it stopped changing, with the same hairstyle as him, and the light faded away to reveal an exact copy of himself, only with silver hair, tail, and eyes, and a white, blue and purple aura. Goku could only look in awe from what he saw.

The copy growled lowly and told him, "Goku stop staring!"

Goku jumped from the voice, and spluttered out, "Who... Wha-How, What???"

The copy walked over to him, and told him, "I'm the form you unlocked during the Tournament of Power. Call me Mastered Ultra Instinct, or MUI for short."

Goku looked in shock and pure confusion at MUI and wiped the last tears off his face. "But... How can a form be a person?!"

MUI merely chuckled, and told him, "By now, you should have been used to the impossible. Anyway, the forms individually are not a person when you use it, but it is when we're in here. Your mindscape." He teleported behind him and placed a hand on Goku's shoulder, making him yelp and fall back from the sudden touch.

"I'm slightly different than the rest. Once you unlock me, which is a first since you're the first mortal to do so, we can talk to each other wherever we are. Also, I contain all the knowledge that you want and wish to have skills, techniques, you name it."

He chuckled again seeing Goku once again, staring at him confusedly. He put out his hand for him to grab, and told him as his tail unwrapped itself from the blue belt Goku had, "C'mon Goku. We got lots of ground to cover."

Goku took MUI's hand and pulled himself up, still shocked by the amount of power he's emitting. He had a few questions circling his head, his tail too unwrapping itself but stiffened and spiked up aggressively, and he asked wearily, "How do I know you're not an enemy or some complete fake me, or even Turles?"

MUI smirked, "Know this. Even in your mind, we can watch your every move, without you knowing it. You got kicked out of the house and probably getting a divorce with the harpy you call a wife because Gohan was in the tournament. Enough?"

Goku nodded eagerly with a grin plastered on his face for the first time, his tail wagging eagerly, before saying, "Can we train now?!"

MUI smiled at Goku's childish behavior and shook his head explaining. "Not yet Goku. You still have to unlock your potential for the forms you can go into."

Again, Goku looked at him curiously, and MUI simply pointed to the doors that appeared in front of them, all closed with a silver lock and chains in front of them.

Goku jumped slightly from when they appeared so suddenly, and MUI told him as he walked up to it, "Power up, form by form, and press your hand onto the lock. You'll see how many forms we can get through."

Goku nodded, placing his hand on the lock, and powering up to Super Saiyan easily. The lock and chains glowed brightly, and cracked, before dissipating, with the door swinging open.
