First Step Of The Plan

The only thing that was able to be heard was silence, which was both pleasant and somehow weird; this vibrant, loud city was quiet without a hint of a sound like it was a city of ghosts, it felt like something was preparing to happen, or maybe the sound was the result of the new ruler of the town, the hybrid Niklaus Mikaelson.

After Klaus came back to the city he left years ago because of his father he was definitely surprised. The city he loved had a new ruler, his protégé Marcel Gerard. But he didn't come back just to be told what he was allowed to do, he is a strong, immortal hybrid after all, and so after months of long, bloody war, he got his city back, but for what price?

While Klaus was sitting in his room, thinking about her, thinking about what he left months ago when he left Mystic Falls, Marcel was planning his revenge.

Marcel's place

"He is going to suffer I am telling you that!" He yelled as he walked around the house and when he heard a soft sight he looked at the direction where a blonde was sitting with a book in her hands.

Cami wasn't pleased with how Marcel changed in the last week, her boyfriend was changing into someone she didn't know and all she could do was just give him a judgmental look and wait for this storm to pass.

"Marcel, could you calm down, please?" He groaned for a moment before he went back to yelling and muttering about something Cami couldn't hear.

"Fine, for god's sake!" Cami suddenly stood up and throw the book on the table and at that moment Marcel froze and looked at her. He was definitely surprised at her reaction, she was never the one who would raise her voice at him.

She softly laughed and at that moment he eased up and rolled his eyes. "I wanted to tell you later when we would be eating dinner and laughing, but I guess now is fine too." He was confused at her words, so he just motioned for her to continue.

"I...I don't know if this will make you happy or angry but just remember that I love you, and I know this is new and only we know about us, and I just hope this doesn't ruin what we have." She took one deep breath, this was harder than she thought, but she knew she has to tell him now.

"I...I am p-pregnant, and it is yours." Suddenly his world collapsed, he couldn't help but think what if it isn't his, he is a vampire after all, so how could this happen, how could she be carrying his child?

Cami was just standing in front of him, hoping he will believe her and at least say something. She didn't care if he would yell at her, at least that would be something.

"Can you say something, please?" She was on the verge of crying, the moment she thought will be one of the happiest for them was turning in a different direction than she wanted.

"What do you want me to say? That I am happy you cheated on me? You know that we could never have kids, that I couldn't have kids, you knew that when you became my girlfriend. And here you are standing in front of me and telling me impossible." She didn't know what to do, she wasn't able to move or say anything and they were just standing in the silence for a few minutes until finally, she was able to say something.

"I didn't cheat on you, I could never. I love you, you know that. You know that I love you! I don't know how the hell is possible but it is. If you don't believe me, fine! You don't want to be a father, fine just say the words and I will pack and leave. Just tell me if you don't want to do this, I love you enough to leave you and let you be happy, if that is what you want, I will not push you to do anything you wouldn't want to do, and it wouldn't be fair to me or you or our child to push you in being something you don't want to be in, so just say the words and I will be gone."
