Eleanor was at Mystic Grill, sitting outside at one of the tables. Nik was out for the day, taking care of 'business'. Really, he meant killing a few people and bombarding the Salvatore's with death threats.
"Here you go." The waiter, Matt, handed Eleanor lemonade. She smiled at him and he walked off. Eleanor took a sip of the drink, but cringed at the sour taste. From the distance, Caroline scoffed at her and turned back to Bonnie and Elena. The three girls were in the park, spying on Eleanor.
"What does Klaus see in her? She doesn't even like lemonade!" Caroline sighed. She was still hung up on Klaus, who ended things immediately after Eleanor woke up with her.
"You need to get over him, Care. They have history together, it's obviously stronger than what you two had." Bonnie stated and shrugged her shoulders. Caroline gasped at the blunt response, taking offence to it.
"I agree. Everybody knew you two wouldn't work out. Besides, Eleanor can actually control Klaus." Elena said. Carolines jaw dropped. "Not that you didn't! It's just, it seems like he cares about her more."
"You guys are so rude! I'm gonna go talk to that little bitch." She growled and walked off. Bonnie and Elena gave eachother worried glances, then chased after Caroline.
Caroline angrily stomped over to Eleanor. Eleanor looked up from the magasine the was on the table, and smiled at the furious vampire.
"Hi. Catherine?" She said nervously. She couldn't remember her name, hopefully she was close enough.
"Caroline, you slut!" Caroline clenched her fists. Eleanors eyes widened at the rude response.
"I'm sorr-"
"Save it! You stole Klaus from me! I had him before you!" Caroline yelled. Elena and Bonnie came up behind her, and tried to pull her away, but Caroline shook them off.
"What?"
"Caroline, let's go." Bonnie tapped her shoulder. Once again, Caroline ignored her.
"You should apologize, you know. Klaus was mine, and he will always be mine. So you better back off before things get nasty." Caroline tried to threaten Eleanor, but it didn't affect her. Eleanor wanted to laugh at the young vampire and her attempts to scare her.
"Caroline, sweetie. I don't think you understand how stupid you sound right now." Eleanor got up and started taking steps towards her. "If you think that what you and Nik had was something special, you're just wrong. Have you met yourself? If I was Nik, I'd end what you two had instantly. You're being clingy. It gets annoying. No guy wants a girl who won't leave them alone. Trust me, I've had friends who've done that. So please, if you don't mind, just leave me and Nik alone for the rest of your life."
Caroline was lost for words. There were tears in her eyes and a lump in her throat. She wanted to deny what Eleanor had just said, but something deep down just had a feeling she was right.
"I-I won't die!" Is all that she said. Eleanor couldn't help but laugh at how desperate she sounded.
"Caroline." Eleanor smirked, "That's not unless I kill you first."
Now that, set something off in Caroline.
Caroline launched herself at Eleanor, clawing at the girls hair. The two of them fell onto the floor, screams coming from mostly Caroline. Eleanor reached up her hand and dug it right into her chest, clutching the girls heart. Carolines breaths became shorter and whimpers came from her mouth. Eleanor wanted to laugh at the vulnerabitly of her.
"Now, if you'd please listen to what I said before. Leave me and Nik alone." Eleanor squeezed her heart, almost making it burst. She drew her hand out of her chest and stood up. She looked around and saw stunned faces of the towns people that were there.
"You saw nothing. Countinue with your lunches." She compelled them. Mumbles came from everybody, then they turned back to eating their lunches. Eleanor turned back to Bonnie, Elena and Caroline, and crossed her arms. Blood smeared onto her salmon dress, but it didn't bother her.
"Girls, I hope we won't have to do this again. It'd be a shame if someone had to die." Eleanor gave a fake smile, then sped back to Nik's house
~
"Niklaus!" Eleanor yelled when she entered the mansion.
"Yes, love?" Nik walked into the main foyer. He knew something was up, Eleanor never called him by his full name unless he was in trouble.
"What the hell did you do with Caroline?"
"What do you mean?" Nik was counfused. The fact that him and Caroline had something together totally slipped his mind.
"Did you have a thing with her?" Eleanor crossed her arms. A shocked expression came onto his face when he realised what she was talking about.
"Eleanor, listen-"
"No! Nik, I'm sick of having to find stuff out from other people! You promised me that you'd tell me everything, anything that I wanted to know! But apparently you can't keep that promise. I can't handle you lying to me, keeping secrets from me." Eleanors voice was becoming week. What she said was the truth.
"Love, we can sit down and talk about this. I'll tell you anything you want." Nik begged. Eleanor shook her head and walked up the stairs.
"When I'm ready to talk to you, I will. Or atleast when you're ready to tell the truth." She took one last glance at him, then ran to her room.
~
It was two a.m., when Eleanor slipped out of bed. She tip-toed over to her closet and opened it up quietly. She grabbed a suitcase and started filling it up with her clothes. She put anything that was smaller into her purse, zipping everything up quietly. She wasn't in her pajamas, she changed into some sweatpants and a t-shirt before she went to bed to make it easier to move around.
Eleanor pursed her lips and grabbed the chair that sat in the corner of the room. She threw it against the window, smashing it to pieces. She heard people getting up, alarmed. That was her cue to grab her bags, and jump out of the window. When she hit the floor, she sped off into the woods behind the house.
Eleanor didn't dare to look back. She knew someone would spot her. It was an escape. She couldn't stay there anymore.
She didn't trust anyone there.

another weird, crappy, not-good ending. sorry didn't know how to describe her escape :P
