'Sincerely, Virgil.' Sequel to 'To My Dearest Friends...'

Wowww, I didn't edit for 18 days. Im super sorry, and as an apology get ready for an action filled, longer chapter. Patton's POV

Vinny had beaten the dark sides in his first fight, and he got out with no injuries! I was so proud of him. I baked my special dessert. A two-tiered chocolate cake with cookie and brownie pieces in it! We had a celebratory party in the real world and Thomas made pasta with scallops, it was amazing!

Over the next month, the dark sides kept using petty tactics to try and kidnap Vinny and even Virgil sometimes, but they never succeeded. But one day, we were unprepared for who they brought with them.

Logan, Roman and I were chilling in the living room when we heard a scream coming from our shared room, specifically coming from the anxiety brothers. We all ran up there and tried to come in, but there was an invisible border on the open door, so all we could do is watch.

3rd person

They stood outside screaming and pounding on the border, like a less dangerous version of the hunger games arena border, trying to get in.

Virgil and Vinny were cowering in the corner cuddling, obviously anxious. Upon looking over, the light sides saw traits they never thought they'd see again.

Insanity, Ignorance, Pride, and Paranoia. Otherwise known as Ian, Elijah, Ryder, and..Virgil. Two fucking Virgils.

Patton's POV

How are they back? Roman killed, not just banished, but killed them! Is it the same way Virgil came back?

A sinister laugh came from Pride. "Well, well, well. Virgil and Vinny, brothers? I know I have brothers. Just one of them is on the wrong side of the spectrum!" He laughed again.

No. Way. Creativitwins? I knew that much. But Creativitriplets?! I did NOT know that! "Roman! You didn't tell us you had two brothers!" He sighed.

"Well, I do. I am mostly romantic and idea thinking, as you know Remus is intrusive thoughts, and you would think that I, being a prince, would cover Ego as well, seeming that I act so. However, it's Ryder that makes up Thomas's ego, and he likes to send me a lot so that he can lurk in the shadows."

"So..Remus, Roman, and Ryder?" Roman nods. "But that's not important. We need to get anxieties out of that room and kill off the others!" He turns back towards the door and draws his sword.

He attempts to break the barrier with the carefully crafted weaponry, but it doesn't budge.

I look back through to see Paranoia corrupting the minds of the anxieties, saying things to make them more anxious, ergo weaker.

"Poor Virgil. Couldn't even stay alive and bear anything! He had to die just to get safety! So weak. And Vinny. He's weak too! He needs constant protection and supervision, and the one time he doesn't have it, we get to come and torment him! They hate you both. They're gonna leave you. They didn't even come when you screamed!"

It's at this moment I realise that the barrier is like a one way window for interrogations. They see an empty hallway, we can see them. I continue to bang on the barrier, trying to see if I can shake it or get their attention. Ignorance appears to slightly move everytime I bang, telling me he's the one holding it up. I give this information to Roman, and he seems to know something.

He closes his eyes and the doorway goes red. Anxieties turn their heads and smile through tears when they see us.

"Kiddos! There's a barrier! We can't get through! What Paranoia says is NOT true! We love you and you are so strong! He only wants your aura! Don't let him get to you!" I yell, and they nod.

"Vinny, Virgil. Whatever you do, do not let them smoke your aura! By that I mean do not let them use vapor to extract your power! Protect each other, especially from Paranoia and Roman's brothers!" They nod again and turn to Roman.

"Use your anxiety and channel their insecurities and weaknesses! Don't let them take you! Use the swords I made you, get their heads! It's where all of their traits originate, the mind!"

"I-If we hurt P-Par-Paranoia, will it hu-hurt Virgil?" Vinny responds. "No! Just do it!"

During the entire conversation, Ignorance was trying to smoke them, but Logan used his Logic and counteracted the movements while I stopped Insanity from doing the same. Roman continued to hold the barrier while using up most of his power on his two brothers. Janus kept trying to aid the dark sides, but he couldn't keep up, nor did he have the ability to smoke traits.

Paranoia broke from his temporary restraining given to him by Virgil, and trapped the two in his aura, giving off a dark gray glow.

And right as they came, they were gone.

With my dark strange sons.

I was finally able to get into the room, but it was to no avail as they already left. I fell to the ground and cried. I held my locket in hopes to wake up, and that my entire life was a dream. That I'll wake up and see us congratulating Virgil on making it to the light sides. Or at least go back to before he died. Or when he came back. I would make sure none of this happened. I opened my eyes to find that it wasn't a dream.

Logan walks in and sits me in his lap on Roman's bed. "We need a plan. I noticed that they all tend to use Virgil's suicide attempt as a way to channel weakness from the both of them. I also noticed that Janus can not smoke traits. He tried, but failed. Therefore, from most dangerous to least, I believe it goes; Dark Virgil, Ryder, Remus, Elijah, Ian, Janus. However, our Virgil is just as powerful as theirs, and Vinny just as powerful as I would say..Remus or Elijah. They will be able to hold out for a few days, thanks to Patton, but I suggest that we save them by, farthest away, the morning after tommorow. Meaning that we should go in the morning once we've rested our aura's from keeping them from smoking the two." He finishes his mini speech.

"Go where?" I ask

"The subconscious."

It took me s o  l o n g to write this. Well, finish writing it. I started writing a long time ago, but I lost motivation and was really busy. I finally got it though! What do you think? Ily! -Evan
