Alarm sound was blaring inside the room. It was bright sunny day, Vijay woke up squinting his eyes to the bright light from his window.
He smiled and hoped that today would go without any problem.

Problem.
Problem.

"Oh my God! How did I forget Nisha?", he closed his eyes and murmured to himself.
Vijay as usual forgot their second year love anniversary date, which was yesterday. Nisha was upset and angry. Vijay tried to convince her but nothing worked out.
He loved Nisha so much and he didn't want to do anything to hurt her.
"How should I convince Nisha", Vijay was thinking and pacing around in his room.
"Vijay, come here", his sister dragged him out of his room.
"Leave me alone Shalini and get the hell out of my room", he shouted.
She turned and went to her room without any argument. It's not her usual self, Vijay narrowed his eyes behind her back.
"She would fight to hell and back even for chocolates but she's so quite today when I yelled at her", Vijay thought while returning to his room.

He took his mobile to see the time.
When he saw the calendar notification, realization settled over him. His eyes widened in shock. It was his sister's birthday today. "The alarm was definitely about Shalini's birthday, why didn't I see the notification while I turned the damn alarm off?", Vijay thought and continued pacing around.
He felt horrible for behaving like a douche. So he decided to convince Shalini no matter what.
He tiptoed into her room and said, "I'm sorry dear".
She glared at him with tears welling in her eyes.
He looked apologetically and said, "I'll give you my share of Oreo for a whole week and I won't sneak a biscuit into my mouth, Promise".
"It's  not enough, I want a family pack of KitKat", she said while smiling.
That's when he saw her smile through her tears.
"Happy birthday my dear sweet sister, the day is all yours, we can go anywhere you want and enjoy your special day", he said and smiled.
Some break up in some relations can be easily mend with biscuits and chocolates.
